Replacement Pool Ladder Steps

I had to order the Hydrotools bolt kit because the original ladder bolts were to short for these steps.

Price was right

These were replacement steps for the ladder of my in ground pool. The ad indicated thay were 17.25 inches in width, but the ad didn't say if that was the total width or the width of the inner portion (inside where the ladder rails go). They were about .25 inches narrower than the original steps, but the ladder mounts were movable enough to still get them into the pool deck.
The main part of the steps is an attractive polished stainless steel with a black rubber stair tread.
I am a little concerned that the black rubber left and right edges will hold up over time and not let go of the main steel step. The connection seems like it's not meant to last.
Overall, the price was right ($39.00) IIRC for all 3 steps, so even if they give out after a few seasons, it wouldn't be the worst thing.
