This coffee maker is super easy to use and it works really well. The instructions on how to use this coffee maker are detailed and clear to understand. The first thing you do is wash the jug the removable filter holder and the coffee filter with soap and water rinse and then dry and replace them back in the machine. Next you plug in the machine set the clock (which is really easy) add water in the back and then run two jugs of water through the machine without the filter in the machine allowing it to cool for 15 minutes in between each jug. I am really glad this step is in here because there was a lot of dust inside the tank that was impossible to get out. Then you’re ready to brew coffee. You add water in the back add coffee to the filter and you press the coffee button and that’s it! The hot plate automatically shuts off on its own as well. There are some other options which include setting the automatic cycle which is also super easy to do and then you can choose the coffee intensity which is super nice. I love a nice bold cup so I always pick the strong option you just hit auto button to cycle though the intensity or automatic cycle options. It also has a mode for 1-4 cups as well. For cleaning there is a self-cleaning option in which you use vinegar and water and choose the correct setting for the self-clean and it cycles the solution through the machine followed up with dispensing 2-3 plain jugs of water in the machine to cycle out all of the vinegar. This is recommended monthly. But it can also be descaled with specific descaling solution by Ariete if needed.This machine itself has such a cute vintage look. It pulls off the look really well but the only thing I don’t love is that the shiny metal parts pick up fingerprints really bad. It also came with a lot of adhesive stuck to the shiny metal which came off nicely with rubbing alcohol but I didn’t think I would need to clean up adhesive. Overall this is a nice coffee maker. It’s got a cute vintage look its programmable and it makes a great cup of coffee! I would absolutely recommend it!

Everything is included with the coffee maker including the coffee pot, filter, brew basket and includes a detailed instruction booklet for using the coffee maker. Some of the features I really like is the automatic timer so I can set it and the coffee is ready when I get up, and the coffee maker has automatic shut off if I happen to forget to turn it off. I also like the fact that you can pour a cup of coffee even if it is not finished brewing, as the dripping is paused when the coffee pot is removed from the warming plate. I do like that you can choose how strong you want to make your pot of coffee. The machine has a cute vintage look. The reusable filter doesn't empty all the water out of it and the pot seems a bit cheap for the cost of the machine.  The machine turns off after 30 minutes of being on which is great if you forget to turn it off.
