Bayou Classic 30 Quart / 7.5 Gallon Stainless Steel Brew Kettle Pot with Lid

This is such a perfect size. I don't think it's too small but not too big either. It does take space though. It is made of good material and looks like it will last.

This Bayou Classic brew kettle pot is a nice size. It's 7.5 gallons. It's big enough that I can make different dishes like soups stews chili or even corn on the cob. It cooks evenly and it also comes with a lid that stays on tightly when I'm cooking in this pot. I really like that it's made of stainless steel. It will be really great this summer for family gatherings and barbecues. It's also easy to clean.

I absolutely loved the quality of the pot! It's definitely huge. I'm pretty sure I could fry a medium-sized turkey in it! It's certainly large enough to make soups for a big crowd!

It's a wonderful stainless steel pot! I love that it stays like new after to be used. I tried to make 5 gallons of pecan atole and this pot was perfect

This pot is going to make it so easy to make meals for the whole family on the holidays. We made chili just last week with it and it cooked so perfectly and the heat was clearly even distributed throughout the pot properly. I need another. And a few for gifts. Lol

large batch cooking such as stew soups chilli chicken bog or even regular day meals for big crowds and parties for at least 50-100 pieces of meat at a time. This pot is great quality sturdy and weighs around 5 pounds. Recommend to anyone that cooks for big crowds likes to fish hunt and cook chicken bogs.

This pot is huge! Great size for all sorts of things but I’ve found a it’s great for making chicken stock and cooking big pots of chili. Good quality! Easy to clean!

Thank you to Influenster and Bayou Classic for the opportunity to test out the Bayou Classic 7.5 gallon stockpot which is also suitable brewing beer. My initial use for this pot was to make taco chili soup starting with browning 80% lean 20% fat ground beef. Unfortunately the experience quickly turned south as the beef began to burn at the bottom of the pot almost immediately a very unexpected outcome given the product’s specifications and intended use. This issue forced me to transfer the contents to my hexclad wok to continue and complete the cooking process.What added to my disappointment was the aftermath of cleaning. It took me significantly more time to clean the stock pot than I actually spent using it for cooking. Given this experience my satisfaction with the pot is quite low at this point. However I am considering giving it another chance by using it for its alternative purpose brewing beer. I plan to update this review accordingly after testing it in that capacity.For now based on my initial experience with making taco chili soup I would advise potential buyers to be cautious especially if planning to use it primarily for cooking tasks similar to mine. Hopefully its performance as a brewing pot will redeem its standing in my kitchen.

I wanted a big pot for sops seafood boils and other things but this pot is huge and I'm so excited to use it. It's heavy duty extra deep and will be great for big party's and family gatherings!

I knew it was going to be a big pot but seeing it come in the mail was still funny. It took forever to boil as expected but it was great. Cleaned easily. Fit oversized items. Great to have on hand.

This is a huge pot like huge huge. I didn't think it was going to be as big as it was but I am not disappointed. I have wanted a stock pot/larger pot/steaming pot/ multi-purpose one for a while now but have been reluctant to purchase one due to not knowing proper specs or if it could be multi-purpose. I can't wait to make some pho stock in the spring I also can't wait to go crabbing this pot will fit at least 100 blue crabs at a time. My small steaming pot if I am lucky fits about 30. When we go crabbing our normal blue crab count is 100-150 can't wait for crab season! Pot is very sturdy and I have heard nothing but great things about the Bayou Classic company from a fellow hunter/fisherman friend. They have a huge Bayou Classic pot as well and it is the BEST thing to make a massive pot of gumbo with.

Amazing pot-it makes very large amounts of whatever you would like to cook in it. For me it’s chili because we have a very large family& we are able to use one pot vs 2 as we normally would. This pot is incredible for cooking at parties as well ! It is larger than my largest burner however I just move it around frequently. Highly recommend if you have to cook for a large group/family church or parties!

Absolutely love this part I do canning in this pot is such a perfect fit for what I need it for I can put so many jars in this pot. It makes my life so much easier

When we talk about quality this takes first place omg I’m impressed in the quality and you would think it’s heavy because of the size but it’s so light weight and spacious very good to do a seafood boil love it
