Customers praised this inflatable stand up paddle board for being "easy to set up," "sturdy," and offering excellent value. The kayak conversion feature with included seat and paddle received high marks. Great board - Bad accessories

I was so excited to get the paddle boards toward the end of summer. I ordered two.  While I found the boards themselves to be great, I was very disappointed in the accessory package.  The carrying bag is not tall enough to accommodate the width of the board - so even after using the board and having it "soften up" a bit, the board does not fit in the carrying bag - even when I shove with all my might.  That was a big selling point, so I'm pretty disappointed about that.
It's a good thing I bought two, because one pump had a hole in the hose, and I would not have been able to pump up  my boards at the lake with the one pump.
The paddle broke the first time we used it; there is an adjustable handle that allows you to adjust the heighth of the paddle.  The clip broke right away, so now the handle just spins around and comes in and out to different lengths and does not lock in.
Overall, a great board, but the accessory failures made for a frustrating experience.
I would happily change my review if the seller would send a replacement pump, paddle, and a solution for the carry bag.

Love it!

I love, love, love this inflatable SUP! One of my friends had bought this board, and another friend bought a different board, and I used their recommendations to buy this one. It's easy to inflate, looks good, and I love that is has the kayak option with a kayak paddle. It is rated for 205 pounds. My friends husband is 220 and when he stands on the board it tends to bow a little in the middle, but I weigh 155 and I didn't have any issue with bowing. It does have 3 fins so makes it easier to steer (my other friend's board had just one fin) but the fins are not removable so it is difficult to put in the bag. But the best was the cost - it was at least 1/2 the price of my other friend's board. We took this to the lake for the week and all of our teenagers loved playing on it. Great buy!

Happy Happy Happy

I'm a woman 5'2, 150lbs and this was my 70th birthday gift! Very happy with my purchase, the paddleboard is easy to carry around and I LOVE having the seat option to transform the board into a sit up kayak, with the paddles provided, very versatile, lots of fun! Easy to blow it up with the pump provided in just a few minutes but up to a certain point, as it gets harder over 10 PSI. I left it at about 14 PSI and it performs just fine for my use. I have used the board on calm water days so I don't know how it performs on more choppy water...at this time I'm using the paddleboard in Florida on the bay but it will go home to Dallas and I'll use it in my neighborhood lake.
Great value, I highly recomend this board! My only "con" is that the canvas carry bag that comes in the box is quite a bit snug and I couldn't fit the folded board even as it came out of the box, so I would say it won't fit after it's blown up, deflatet and folded again, hope I'm wrong!
Happy camper here!

Best decision I've made lately

This is a crazy great value! I have rented paddle boards that supposedly cost hundreds more & this is absolutely comparable. Hard to beleive it's an inflatable once it's been pumped up (which is just as much a workout for that last psi as the other reveiwers have stated lol). We got some surprised looks when we were overheard talking about how much like a conventional board it performed, there's no way you would know it wasn't one if it wasn't marked on the board itself. We live at the beach, so the intracoastal is our preferred place to float around but it handled the water closer to the ocean pretty well (wouldn't recommend for serious ocean use but would certainly be fine to get past the breakers & paddle around close to shore). So much fun & so affordable we're planning to get another. I'm 55 & can easliy tote it once inflated, although the backpack is a little much for me. It fits nicely in the back on my toyota matrix with the back window down though, so non SUV'ers would have little trouble transporting.

great buy!

This is my first SUP, I did a lot of research before purchasing and did not want to spend a ton of money, just in case I didn't like paddleboarding. So, I decided to give this one a try because you can't beat the price and it got pretty good reviews. I have to say, I LOVE IT! It was tough to pump up but take a break and come back to it. I was able to get it to 15 psi. My 5 year old can stand and balance on this thing! I was worried because I know you get what you pay for, but this SUP is definitely worth it! I am so glad I made this purchase, and found it $50 cheaper on VMI than on amazon. WIN!

Upside exceeded

This has blown away our expectatons especially for the price. It looks better than more expensive models and has worked fantastically. It even came with a sturdy carrying bag. The only issue has been so far that the bag is a very tight fit lengthwise.

Wonderful!

This thing is amazing!  It is hard as a rock when it is inflated.  My teenagers love it, and I was even able to do it sitting down. It floats over the top of the water with very little work to paddle.
It is sturdy, and so much fun.  The only issues are that since it is under pressure it is hard to finish hand pumping it up.  Also, it is a little hard to roll up small enough to fit in the bag provided... and I can't fit the pump, etc in it as well.  But the backpack it goes in is well made and sturdy.  I ended up ordering a second one because we loved it so much.

Ultra portable SUP

This was an excellent find! It's perfect for recreational use. Having the equipment included to convert to a kayak is a huge bonus! Overall it's perfect for travel and recreational fun. Ultra portable and if you're in decent shape it's easy to air up. If you're not very fit and strong I highly recommend acquiring an electric pump. Getting it to the required 15psi with the included pump takes some umph. All in all we are very happy with the purchase and highly recommend to everyone, At this price they're a steal which is why we bought 2 of them!

Love this!

I first tried paddle boarding a few years ago in Clearwater Beach, FL and was instantly hooked.  I have looked on and off for a while to find a perfect paddle board for me.  I finally saw this one with the excellent reviews and very reasonable price so I ordered it.  It was here the next day!  My 10 yr old daughter and I aired it up with the included pump in about 10 minutes.  We stopped at about 14 psi.  Took it to the pond (I live in Kansas) to try it out.  Very stable.  The paddle adjusted easily.  I'm 5'2" and 110lbs.  After I tried it for a while, my 2 daughters each tried for the first time to paddle board.  They were both up and going within a couple minutes.  I was able to use it with my 60lb daughter on with me, but when I added my 90lb daughter, it felt very wobbly and we decided 260lbs was too much.
Several people commented that the bag is too small.  I struggled and fought to get the board into the bag and finally I rolled it tighter than it was when it came and it fit perfectly even with the paddle and pump. (I left out the seat, kayaking part of the paddle, and foot roll) The bag seems to be excellent quality and I like the hip straps that support the weight. (It's a backpack)
The whole thing is a bit heavy, but not excessively so.  I'm very pleased with it so far and will likely buy at least one more.

Great SUP

I had reluctantly ordered this SUP, not knowing how durable an inflatable SUP would be.  To my pleasant surprise it was reasonably easy to set up (I recommend an electric pump), it is very durable and easy to use.  After recieving mine I ended up ordering a second one for my 14 year old daughter.  We have used them multiple times in a nearby lake with no issues/problems.  I really like the option of using the seat like a kayak and was glad to realize it is still possible to stand when the seat is attached, so you can switch back and forth if you want to.  I would say these SUPs were well worth every penny spent for them.  It would be nice if they came in different colors/patterns, but this is not a deal breaker for me.

Amazing value!

First off, my order shipped one hour after I placed it, and then I had my new paddle board a day and a half later. Amazingly fast shipping! I was impressed with the quality of the board and all of the accessories it came with. I was able to blow this up with the hand pump in under 10 minutes and it deflates in less than 1. It held my weight with no issues at all and I'm around 180. It also came with an ankle leash which I personally didn't notice in the description or pictures and the "kayak" seat has a nice zippered bag on the back. Very impressed with this board and have already recommended it to several people.

So far, so good...

This is my first paddle board so I wanted one that was good quality but wasn't too expensive. It only took a few days to get it, and although I've only used it once, it seems to be very good quality and it was easy to set up. The pump takes some work so I did buy one that plugs into my car to make that easier. Very happy so far!

A great paddle board option.

Having used a solid core paddleboard before, I had expectations that this might be too soft and not very sturdy. Once properly inflated, this thing is firm and sturdy. Make sure to inflate it to approximately 15 psi with the pump. It will take you 5-10 minutes depending on how furiously you pump. Call it the warm up for paddling. The convertible paddle is a good entry item and the additional parts to go between kayak and paddleboard mode are fine. I've travelled with this to some Canadian lakes as well as local spots. It excels on calm water but does take more balance control on choppy water. Getting it into the included bag can be a challenge but it does for eventually. Pay attention to the 250 lb limit, we took this out in "kayak" mode with me at 200l lbs and my youngest who weighs a little more than 50 lbs. No major issues just sat a little lower in the water. As a paddle board, I have probably 6 hours stand up time and it has been great. My wife is talking about getting a second one for her!

Nice recreational

As a first time paddleboarder, bought this for my birthday since had the seat in case I couldn't get the hang of standing.
con:Thank goodness I aired it up a couple days before. Easy until you get to about 9 psi then I was literally pushing all my weight on the air pump. Got it to 14 psi and called it good. I'm not in bad shape and this had me worn out. I think this would have been the case for any blow up board though. Staying aired up for the summer!
Pros: Very glad I didn't spend more since this is perfect for the lake I'm on and for recreational use. I read a lot of reviews and seemed like until you got over $450 not much difference.  First time out, standing, easy to use, and enjoyable!  At 175 lbs, no problems with sagging. Think it would handle 200lbs fine. I would say for a heavier person may be happier with a 6 inch thick board which can handle more weight from the reviews I read. This was the perfect board for me!

Paddle boarding is a good time!

I absolutely love this paddle board.  We just ordered a second one.  Only a few issue here.  One is the back pack, can't figure out how to get the board in.  The other is pumping it up, which is an issue with most boards.  Getting it to 15 PSI with the hand pump and getting the last 5 psi is hard. We tried several 12v pumps that either work with your cigarette lighter or hook to your battery.  None were that great.  So in my research, I found a valve adapter from Red Paddle Co Inflatable SUP Schrader Valve Adapter.  This can connect with a regular inflator that can pump your tires.  I am waiting for this adapter and will be getting a portable 12v inflator that has preset PSI so it wont overinflate.  I am looking forward to trying these and can possibly update this review in case any readers are curious.
