I love that these are 100% natural. There are no chemicals or additives. I have used them in my grill firepit and recently my fireplace. They quickly started the fires. I used 2 drops in my fireplace because my logs were a little damp. The fire drops never lost flame. They started right up. I didn't have to wait for the lighter fluid to burn off my charcoal. There was no need for fluid with these!

So as an active outdoors person that goes camping a lot I am always looking for eco friendly things to help make my camping trip more successful. I thought this item would be great for starting fires at the campsite. Before completely committing to this being my option at the campsite I knew I had to test it out in my backyard. So first thing first the box is not the best storage solution for keeping these things in. A lot of them came smashed or broken on delivery so when I opened the box it was quite the mess. They have a slight smell to them so keep that in mind and open the package outside. I tested it out and found at first that it was slightly difficult to light. But once it got going it didn’t have trouble maintaining and taking off with growing flames. I don’t think I’m committing to making these my go to yet but they're definitely something I’ll use up while I got them.

Love how easy it is just to start a fire with these. Barely have to even build a fire with kindling you can pile the logs and throw one in and walk away.burns slow with a nice flame. No noticeable scent

I love these Fatwood Fire Drops. They are super convenient to use. Despite being very lightweight and small in size they just work amazingly well. They are simple to pack and carry for camping or an overnight hike. They light quickly and easily and make getting a decent fire going simple. I also appreciate that they are non-toxic and have no added chemicals or additives. I wish I had found these long ago.

I wanted to try these because my in-laws who live right down the street had a huge chair they decided they didn't want anymore. Instead of giving it away or hauling it away they put it outside by their firepit to burn. It sat there for over a year in the rain snow etc.I honestly didn't think anything would work to help burn the chair but this stuff had it blazing! Not to mention there was no gas involved!! I would recommend this anyone and everyone especially for wet cardboard boxes!

The first thing I even noticed before opening the box was the smell! Oh my god do I love that pine smell! These pucks are a decent size but I found them to be too big and wasteful for just starting a woodstove so I've been breaking mine up into quarters and that has been working perfectly. They're hard packed but fairly easy to break up lighting them is like lighting a candle. You just need to hold a flame to it for maybe a couple seconds and then she lights right up and burns for a long time! I'm not sure how long as the stove usually gets roaring within a couple minutes using it. I was skeptical at first but I'm very impressed with how simple yet effective this is.

This product works good it was super easy to light we Had no issues lighting it with just a couple of pieces fire was good to go definitely a winner

This fire starter worked really well when we used it in our outdoor fire pit. The wood we used in the fire pit was colder and doesn’t always light very easily. These are a game changer. Highly recommend.

These things are great to keep in your fire starting kit. It really cuts away from the time spent getting a fire going. Put this littleBlock in and boom you’ve got all you need to get your fire blazing. It’s the thing you didn’t know you needed but now that you have it it is kind of like you can’t live without it.

Living in the country we have to burn trash. This box of 48 BetterWood Fatwood Starters are made of sawdust that is salvaged from other types of wood. It is shaped similar to a cupcake and is good for campfires fireplaces wood stoves trash burning etc. Just drop one in and light in. Help start the fire in the burn barrel without having to add lighter fluid etc. Now that it is getting colder will be perfect for fires in the fire pit. First time using this type of product but are really impressed by it.
