After using salt in your spreader, you should flush the hopper out with water and then dry it. This will help prevent corrosion from the salt material.
Also, after flushing the unit, run the motor to help remove any water in or near the motor that you might have not been able to dry. This unit can run off a 12-volt battery when using the remote control, or it can plug into your trailer lights plug and run when you turn your lights on or off. Currently, you can not use the trailer light plug for power and use the remote control.

Seeder is solid construction that is easy to use. Only improvement needed for this equipment is drop/flow settings to aid in properly set spread rates for fertilizer and seed. Excellent for random spreding of wildlife corn and feed.
This spreader was easy to assemble. I did have to purchase a separate hitch extension since the 3 wasn’t long enough. But that’s a personal issue and it may work fine for other vehicles/ATVs. The remote is an excellent feature as well!
I live in East Florida but own some land out west that I keep some livestock on. The animals completely destroy the grass on a regular basis so I use this Boss Buck feeder/seeder on the back of my ATV to quickly and efficiently reseed the area. It holds more seed than I need it to and works flawlessly. It’s very well made too which is very important as it needs to be in order to hold up to the abuse I put it through. I’m very happy with this product and would recommend it for anyone looking to feed or seed a large area quickly with any ATV.
This thing is amazingly awesome! The remote works great too. Fairly easy to assemble and definitely easy to use. We actually adapted it to our truck and works just as well as being on atv.
I do like this spreader the only reason I gave it 4 stars is the instructions were very poor and the parts that were preassembled were backwards this I learned the hard way. The caster was up side down so when I poured 80 lbs. of fertilizer in to the hopper it just ran out on to the floor. Also I love that it is remote controlled My only problem is that the directions again aren't enough to instruct you how to hook it up to your truck trailer hook up or a battery. We fooled around with all the wires and guessing how it worked for about a half hour until I just got a separate battery to run the unit. The unit ran great once we figured it out or jump some of the wiring. the Remote is great and the flow control is a bit rough but worked fine.
This got here just in time for deer season so my husband was super excited to try it out. It came with detailed instructions so it was relatively easy to put together. It hooked up very easily to our ATV trailer hitch. It told me that it worked like a charm and he’s ready to use it earlier for next season.
Boss Buck Feeder/Seeder I love this product first thing you will notice after opening is how well made this product and the high quality materials it is made from.You can use it from doing your yard seeding and fertilizing to salting drive way in winter to planting food plots for wildlife which I use it for love that I can hook right up to my receiver on my Chevy Blazer and plug in and go for larger wide open areas to hooking up on my atv and doing small tight areas also love the remote control feature. It has a 80# capacity so you not always stopping to fill up this is a great and well made product Thank you Boss Buck

My husband and I hasnt smiled so big in a long time lol!! This is perfect for our soze acreage ( almost 6) . We were so excited when we opened it to see the solidness of the seeder/ spreader and eben moreso tonsee there was a remote!! Talk about kids in a candy store!! This fits our 4 wheeler perfectly and spreads amazingly fast!! We have ised ot so far for fall fertilizer . Holds a massive size bag. Cant wait for spring to spread grass!! This is my honest review of the GSM LLC. - Boss Buck BB-1.80 80 Pound Capacity Non-Typical ATV Feed Spreader and Seeder. We hooked this up to our ATV and it did a great job spreading the seed out in our back yard! Worked as expected!
