Compatible with many lab scopes and graphing multimeters, the probe clamps onto wires to test the current of a given battery. The large jaws open up to 0.5 inches wide, wrapping around most negative battery cables. Linking to various types of scopes, the probe generates current waveforms for accurate diagnostic analysis. The device allows you to easily read current flow in fuel injectors, fuel pumps, primary ignition coils, and other automotive equipment. A resolution of 10 milliamps provides you with amazing detail, great for performing precise adjustments or taking highly-accurate measurements.
Alerting you when the battery is low, the system's low-battery indicator ensures you never lose power in the middle of a job with proper maintenance. An auto power-off function turns of the device when not in use, helping conserve power as you work. Handling low currents, the tool supports test ranges of 0 to 20 amps for both direct and alternating currents.
