This pool skimmer by Hayward has 1 1/2-inch female straight pipe threads and a snap-in, removable weir.

Needed replacement

This Hayward skimmer replaces an older unit that has been on my pool for more than a decade. I was seeing leakage and decided to start fresh. The installation went great, easier than I thought. The unit came with many parts and accessories. The only thing I did not know at the time of purchase is that the connectors are 1-1/2 inch and my tubes at this point are 1-1/4 inch. Other than that I am pleased.

This skimmer is not readily available form local pool stores. All had to order and all wanted more than VMI. This was delivered to my house for cheaper than I could buy it anywhere else and it was the complete kit with gaskets and return fitting.
