The glazed cordierite stone resists scratches and heats up fast so you can get to eating your favorite crispy-crust 'za in no time. The non-stick surface ensures your dough won't stick to the pan while a special coating shields the stone from high temperatures to avoid smoking. For added versatility, you can also use this stone for baking bread or a cooking stone for traditional recipes like calzones. Be sure to place your pizza stone in a room-temperature oven, then pre-heat as putting a cold stone in an already hot oven can cause cracking.
