Everybody come and play Let's go to the pool today.

I received this Intex Ultra XTR Above Ground Swimming Pool from Influencester in exchange for my honest review and my opinion of it is well first of all I didn't expect the pool to be this gigantic it being at about 32ft by 16ft by 52in which btw the inches comes to about 4 feet deep. It comes with so much also not only do you have the sand filter pump that allows clean up to be quick and easy by having the sand capture any and all particles that may be in the water causing it to keep the water cleaner for longer periods of time clean up of this is super easy because you only have to clean up the sand once every 5 years and it is also a less expensive way of cleaning up the pool. It also comes with a removable ladder for quick and easy access the pool frame which uses composite T-joints meant for strength and protection it also helps for a tool-free setup pool liner which boasts a 3-ply anti or 50% higher tear resistance it has an extra thick PVC layer that helps to avoid tears a pool cover for when the pool is not in use this is needed to reduce any sort of debris that you may find a deluxe cleaning kit (leak rake curved wall brush and vacuum head) to help for larger objects that may have gotten into the pool a ground cover as extra precaution against sharp objects that may be on the ground and for whatever reason every time I've looked the pool up no website mentions that it comes with a volleyball set that includes ball net and poles to connect it to the pool frame. It comes with so much and due to that I found moving this to be a bit of a chore because it was such a weighty item before opening and removing all carefully separated pieces of the pool. Set up was not a breeze like it says on the box nor was it 90 minutes for setup and I made sure to time it from once I took things out of the box to when I finished building the pool and I will say it took me about 2 hours with help which was a lot on its own but adding in outside sources such as the Texas heat bugs being out and ready to attack and the difficulty of making sure it all turns out exactly like it should created an even more stressful situation. I found myself frustrated with things and wanting to give up on it that was until I actually finished building it and actually got a chance to use the pool. All my frustrations with building it taking longer with the heat and bugs disappeared because once in use I had the time of my life decided to throw a nice party for family and friends which was up to about 11+ people and we all were able to fit inside the pool together with various floaties and still had enough space to walk around without feeling crowded or cramped together. I say that to say this pool is as I mentioned earlier massive in size and takes a large amount of water in fact it takes about 14364 gallons of water to fill the pool up which in time is about 3 days depending on water strength. Another issue at hand is that the instructions aren't super clear about what you will need that they do not provide. I had to purchase the sand which was $60+ the chlorine and the chlorine floater which was $80+ I don't mean to nitpick but I wish the instructions were a bit more clear or had a early page dedicated to useful/necessary items you'll need before set-up similarly it mentions no tools but when setting up the pool sandfilter you need a screwdriver and other tools so again a heads-up would fantastic before set-up. The pool pump works in a way that it cleans the pool of minor debris on a consistent basis without having to continually vacuum up anything or having an expensive filtration system that you need to change every 2-3 years to a sandfilters every 7-10 which saves on cost and it works as you'd expect is fairly loud at times but again that is to be expected for something that helps to filter out all minor debris that may be in your pool anything larger can be cleaned with the included pool cleaner supplies such as the vacuum attachment and the pool net and pole. I will say my experience with it so far has been excellent and worth the headache that setup was high water bill and all this felt like at the end such a rewarding experience. All in all this pool's setup was a headache which was not helped by the Texas heat and bugs being active + the instructions should be much clearer on things you would need to purchase before and after setup to make sure the process of upkeep is more clearly defined but outside of that I found myself enjoying my experience with it and loving the after effects of it. I would also think that on the box/if purchased online it should have something that announces things you'll need as a way to help warn you especially if you are new to pool setup/upkeep. The pool is huge so if you do not have the space manpower or the money to hire the right people to take on this project i would suggest either a smaller size pool or making the consistent trip to local water based amusement park or a beach. If you do have those...

The Intex Ultra is an excellent pool

The Intex Ultra is an excellent pool. This is what you really need to know!!! What you pay for this pool will not be the price in the end meaning that there will be costs associated etc…..you need to know that when setting up a pool this size that a level surface is key! It is an absolute! DO NOT set these pools up with one side higher than the other and Be sure where the tarp is laid is where you want the pool there is no going back to move it. It took 2 hours to hook up the pool filter salt water and connect the hoses. The pool took about 3days to fill up. Changed my hose for better output of water. I did not water at night. Over all I am happy right now with this pool and excited for summer to come now. The pool is BIG. I like how Intex sends you mostly everything you will need to get this pool started and running. The pool is a lot of work to setup and maintain but the benefit of having a very large pool will pay off. Highly recommend 🤩
