This Intex Challenger 3 is constructed of rugged, Super-Tough PVC and has inflatable I-beam floors for comfort and rigidity. It has 3 air chambers, 2 quick-fill and fast-deflate Boston valves with an included high-output hand pump.

The Challenger 3 comes with 48-inch aluminum oars, inflatable seat cushions, welded-on oar locks and oar holders, and motor mount fittings on the rear of the raft. There are grab handles on each side and an all-around grab line for your convenience.

I use mine for fishing. Easy to paddle, easy to inflate, and light enough to carry on a bicycle trailer. Easy to make a floor for it with either wood or styrofoam. Plenty of room for two adults and all their fishing gear. The oarlocks are useless for rowing, but great for tieing the raft to a tree, using an anchor, or putting on a bimimi top. I have had mine for 3 years and taken it out on many lakes countless times, and it works as well as the day I bought it. Overall, a terrific value.

Works Great With SailboatsToGo Sail Kit

i use this boat with the SailboatsToGo folding sail kit to make it into a real sailboat that can tack into the wind. It's wonderfully lightweight and compact, making it a great portable sailboat. The 3-ply boats like the Hydro-Force Voyager or Intex Mariner 3 or 4 are more firm and rigid, so they sail even better, but nothing beats the Challenger 3 for low price and lightness of weight.

Nice boat at the best price

I own 4 Intex boats. 1 seahawkII, 1 seahawk 2 and I just bought two of these Challenger 3's. This is an Excellent boat for the price. I am using this boat for rafting on a mild river, The delaware watergap and it is not too heavy to carry but fairly stong and puncture resistant. VM has the best price on this boat. I bought two of them and saved even more over other internet sellers. I bought this boat on the weekend and they shipped it first thing on monday and I received it in 4 days. This is an Excellent seller. VM is highly recomended.

I am impressed

Although I have yet to use it, I can tell it's going to be great. It seems sturdy as can be and took me less than 15 mins to inflate it.
