leak

I was happy with the kyak at first. We used it twice in a slow river with no rocks or sharp edges. The third time it was inflated it gradually lost air on the left side of the kyak.
It has been very difficult to locate the leak.

This is tougher than expected and remains stable even in mild rapids. Also seats were more supportive than expected. So far, its a fair alternative to a solid kayak and way easier to transport

Great for beginners!

* I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.*The Intex Excursion Pro Inflatable Kayak is great for someone just starting out like myself. You only need to buy some life jackets and fishing poles because everything else you need is included. Set up is fairly quick and easy with the included pump and the kayak is lightweight and easy to carry. The included oars seem to be good quality and they work well at controlling the kayak in the water. Though I have only taken the kayak out in the water one time I can already see that it has been made well and it will hopefully last for quite some time. I have not noticed any leaks or defects at all and the kayak performed great when put to the test. The only complaint I have is that the included storage bag doesn't seem like it is going to last very long. Not a big deal I will just have to purchase a different bag for storage purposes.

Never received .

Doing this so I don’t get penalized. The item was delivered in Indiana. I live in North Carolina. Never lived in Indiana. So yeah no product to review. Proof in the pictures.

Impressive and Sturdy

While we have not had the chance to actually put this kayak in the water due to the freezing weather and storms I can’t even begin to tell you how impressed I am with the quality of this kayak. It is made of such thick material that my daughter has enjoyed just lounging in it inside of our house. It’s also impressive how small everything breaks down - including the oars! This came with a booster seat too which I think will help my younger daughter a camera mount mounts for fishing rods a gauge for filling it properly as well as a manual pump. We used an electric pump just for speed other than that we cannot wait to get this in the water!

So sturdy!

This kayak is so sturdy and big! It’s made with a nice thick material and is made very smart. My husband and son both fit in that with plenty of room.

Extremely satisfied

I love this Kayak!! My husband and I full time travel in an RV, so we have to be choosy when it comes to what we purchase due to lack of space. The fact that it is inflatable is why we chose it. We are extremely satisfied with the quality. The bag is great, because it keeps everything together In one place. The kayak looks sharp on the water and we even pushed the weight restriction; the performance never changed. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great value for an inflatable kayak!

I bought this kayak when away from home to access some areas for fishing. I used it a couple of times while away from home set up for a single fisherman.
The material is like my larger rafts and appears to be tough enough for use on rivers. It has the same kind of inflation points as my rafts and the pump works well.
Inflation and set up was really quick and easy. Probably less than 10 minutes to set up and be on the water. Light weight and easy to carry down to the water.
Deflation, takedown and folding up for putting in the supplied bag took about the same amount of time.
I was using this kayak on a still water lake. On the water, this kayak worked very well. I used the larger fin and tracking was great. The paddle could be upgraded, but is sufficient and lightweight. It does catch a little wind, but not bad and still controllable. I did not use the rod holders. There was adequate room for my gear and some water.
I travelled on an airplane back home. The entire package in the bag with a life jacket was 37 pounds. It was a bit bulky carrying into the airport but made it home with no issues. I will likely travel with this to other destinations and on vacations.
Looking forward to using this around the lake near our house with the wife and grandkids. Will probably use it on some of the local rivers as well.

Very pleased

Very nice product for the price. Stable on the water and easy to set up. We own the Explorer II from Intex ans well as the Pro. Both products are well made, bu the Pro is much sturdier with a better pump/air pressure setup.

Sometimes you even get a little bit more than you pay for.

Wouldn't consider myself expert kayaker, but impressed overall. Remember the drain plug before launch, it won't sink but dryer is better. Inflates quickly and easily, deflates almost as easily. One or two times to get the hang of getting it to lay best for rolling up for packing away. The stated load limit seems conservative, handled and rode well in the water with two guys (at least at the 300 pound limit.) Really like the the design detail that provides balanced placement for the seat for single person use, down to the foot rest placement.
If the durability holds up as well as it looks it might, I'll need to remember to come back and increase this to 5 stars.

Looking forward to using it

I haven't taken this on the water yet, but it seems really well-built and designed. It's heavier, but I don't necessarily consider that a con given how sturdy the materials are. After you get a hang of what goes where—lots of things in the box—it's easy to set up and pretty comfortable, with the ability to adjust the seats to your preference. I'm mostly slender with wider hips, so the sides definitely hug me, but it still feels fine. I'm also tall and didn't find that the foot rests would be of much use to me, though I'd prefer it without anyway (loads of leg room). Lots of storage space too. This thing is really long.
Easy to put away, and made even easier for the fact that the pump can be used to deflate the kayak completely. No awkwardly trying to fold it while there's still some air inside. I'm really excited to try this out!
