The 2800 GPH Krystal Clear sand filter from Intex features a powerful motor, 6 way valve, pressure gauge and a built in timer. This 28647EG (56673EG) meets the UL standards, and it is an excellent upgrade to the filter cartridge system on your Intex Above Ground Swimming Pool (Easy Set, Metal Frame and Ultra Frame up to 12,800 gallons). Keep your above ground pool water clean, soft, and refreshing with the **Intex Krystal Clear Saltwater System**. With the system’s electrocatalytic oxidation process, water molecules are split into highly powerful oxidants which destroy organic contaminants.

The amount of natural chlorine generated by the saltwater system is reduced by approximately 60%, much less than other saltwater systems generate. The result is soft, fresh, clean water without the potential harsh side effects of packaged pool chemicals. Set the 24 hour timer for a hassle free operation. Equipped with the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, which is an added safety feature that shuts off the pump if electrical current is exposed to water. Use with a maximum pool size of 15,000 gallons. Requires a filter pump with a flow rate between 700 3,000 gph.
