The **Intex Mariner 4** is the perfect boat for the camper or fisherman, as well as for anybody looking for a high quality, durable boat. The Mariner is GS certified. It is constructed from Intex’s® three-ply SUPER-TOUGH™* vinyl. Two outer layers of heavy-gauge PVC are laminated to an inner layer of polyester mesh. Not only is this extremely tough but it allows for a more rigid hull. When combined with an inflatable keel, all around rock guard and grab rope, rotational oar locks, motor mounts, fishing rod holders, grab handles and a rigid floor, the Mariner is in a class by itself!

The **Intex Motor Mount Kit** fits all inflatable Intex boats with mount fittings on the rear of the boat. The Motor Mount Kit attaches in minutes and expands the capability of your Intex inflatable boat. Effortlessly cruise across the water with motors up to 3.0 horsepower. When you're finished, the Intex Motor Mount Kit detaches and disables in minutes for easy storage and transportation.

The strong molecular structure of this plastic makes it highly resistant to damage from abrasion, impact and sunlight. This special PVC plastic material also allows more air pressure for greater rigidity while maintaining the PVC material's natural flexibility.
The Mariner 4's SUPER-TOUGH™ construction is made with 3 separate layers of 26.4 gauge (0.65mm) material

Spend a few extra dollars on something else

I am happy that the product made it to me on time for our trip. However, the quality of the product is simply unacceptable. We pumped up the 4 sections of air and one section leaked immedately. We tried tightening the cap and everything we could but couldn't get it to hold air for very long. I would return the product if I could. The instructions were okay, but it wasn't impossible to figure out on your own. It's large, but cannot hold more than 2 or 3 people, best case. Just spend your money on something nicer. We attached a trolling motor to the back which weighed it down a lot.

Fantastic with a Sail Kit

I use this boat with a SailboatsToGo sail kit, that turns it into a real sailboat that can tack upwind and go all over. The boat is nice and firm and rigid, like a non-inflatable. But, since the boat deflates and the sail kit folds, the whole thing can travel in the trunk of my car and store in a closet or under a bed. This is not like some inflatable boats that are all soft and floppy. It feels like a real boat, and that firmness also makes it better for sailing, because you go faster than a softer boat would.

BEST DEAL AROUND!!

The price was unbeatable and unbelievable! after shopping around found the ad on Amazon and went directly to the VMinnovations site and signed up and recieved a 10$ off coupon that i was able to use on my 1st purchase.
I called customer service and the guy was more then helpful and solved the issue of the ad displaying the raft as a 2 boston valve system not a 4 like the 2013 model should be.
The shipping was SUPER fast!
