Little Giant 14942691 Automatic Excess Water Pump for Swimming Pool Covers, Blue

This is a must have item if you have to drain water off of anything that may hold water. We used it on top of my pool cover when we closed it during the winter and it worked perfectly.

The Little Giant Pool Cover pump works very well.It is easy to hook-up use a standard garden hose fitting and has a long power cord too. It is quiet. It is automatic can leave it place during the raining season and it turns on/off automatically when the water level is about 2 inches. I will remove it over the winter/freezing months here in N.E. Ohio. Seems to be rugged hoping it last several seasons.

This thing is amazing it is easy to use light weight. I love the fact that it activates when water level reaches a certain point and automatically turns-off when water level drops certain level. Everyone who has a pool need this I recommend this to anyone and everyone.

After several seasons of dealing with pool cover issues this is a lifesaver. I have a large above ground pool that I cover in winter. I tried the big balloon under the cover but water just congregated all around the edges instead of the middle not solving the problem. I then resorted to siphoning the water off with a hose. This was a pain in the neck. Now with this Little Giant pump I just sit it in the cover plug it in and let it go to work whenever an accumulation occurs. It has worked flawlessly since I got it. I do remove when we have a hard freeze just to be safe. I highly recommend thing thing.

This excess water pump for pool covers is easy to use. It sits right on top of the pool cover and activates in only 2 inches of water. This pump will lengthen the life of my cover. It keeps my pool cover free of water. I didn't have to buy a special hose for it it works with the one I already have. I would recommend this to my friends.

This is so amazing when there’s water on top of my pool tarp or even on top of my hot tube it sucked it all off for me that way I don’t have to try to lift a million pounds by myself . It doesn’t clog and it’s so quite . I absolutely love this thing

The Little Giant is exactly that. I was able to easily place it onto my pool cover due to its light weight. After starting it up it was a lot quieter than expected and best of all it didn't have any problem working around the debris from my trees.

I had to shut our pool down early this year because I just didn’t have the time to keep it up. We had a lot of rain for a week straight and this nice pump has helped me keep the water off of the tarp it has made my life so much easier! I highly recommend to anyone that has this problem also!

I previously used a small weak pump. After the hassles of standing water on my cover I finally got this pump. This thing works perfect. It handles water smoothly. It is much quicker that my previous pump. 10/10.

We've had so much rain that my garden was starting to flood in the areas we walk. We have black weed barrier down and out plants are mounded up higher than where we walk through. We had a few inches of water on all the low spots. We put this out there for an hour or two and all the water was gone from the garden. We have a pool that we take down each year and we always have problems getti g the very last bit of water out. I am extremely confident that this pool cover pump will do the job for us. I am so impressed. It saved all our veggies from going bad. Its a small unit that doesn't weigh much too which is nice. We will be keeping it on the solar cover next season to help remove the rain water.

The Little Giant Automatic Excess Water Pump for swimming pool covers is a decent pump. It's extremely efficient very reliable and easy to use. It absorbs most of the water but occasionally leaves a small puddle near the center of the cover. Overall the Little Giant helps to keep our pool cover dry.

We have been collecting rainwater in buckets for some time since there have been weeks in which we do not get any rain. I have been looking for pumps that could fit into our bucket; YET we can attach a garden hose to it. While the pressure isn't that great it does the job. If we notice that the water flow is slower it could be blocked and this pump will allow you to unscrew it to unblock the debris from the hole as not many will have that option. I would recommend if you are looking for a pump for your reserve rainwater.

I actually need this year round for when we travel. We always keep our pool covered when we are out of town. It was great to get the Little Giant and a pleasure to return home this past week and the cover had only a tiny amount of water on it! Normally it’s many many gallons I have to contend with and bucket it out. Very well made and easy to use. The weight of it creates it’s own sump well so it get’s nearly all the water. Happy to have it!

This was easy to use although it was a little heavy. It does the job and pumps the water off my pool cover. Having water on top of our pool cover always bothered me before as it attracted a lot of bugs this pump has changed my life for the better.

This little giant is amazing! It can completely drain our pool in 10 min and our cover in seconds. No more using a hose that takes hours to drain. I cannot believe we have went all these years without the little giant!
