The built-in Feed Saver Ring minimizes spillage to prevent wasted feed and is easily removed for cleaning. Made of strong, heavy-duty plastic, this chicken feeder is designed to withstand heat, cold, and cracks over time. This was super easy to fill from the top. I love that it's plastic and won't rust. It's a very large capacity and i like not having to keep refilling it over and over.

I had a homemade feeder made out of pvc that worked okay but would have to be refilled every few days. Receiving this feeder was a game changer. I can dump a 40lb bag of feed and not worry about it for weeks. It less work for me keeps the feed cleaner by blocking this chicken from climbing or pooping in it and it’s low maintenance. I’d highly highly recommend if your have a more than a couple chickens.

The little giant 60 pound chicken feeder is very sturdy and easy to use. And it certainly holds a lot of feed. The top is covered against the weather. Great for a large flock or if you’re away for a couple of days. My flock is small so this will be used during times that I am away.

I like that having this feeder means I don't have to necessarily feed the chickens every day...they have food and the feeder will distribute it as needed. Do not purchase

As with the waterer when this unit is full of food and heavy the legs turn out and pop off leaving you with a heavy unit full of feed that you cannot get the legs back on. Very disappointed!
