The Marcy Deluxe Diamond Elite Smith Cage Total Body Gym is a total body home gym designed to have all the features of a club machine. With 3 strength machines and 6 exercise stations, you can perform over 100 exercises, all within 1 compact design.

Built into this system is a cable-routed pectoral fly station, safety Olympic bar catches, fully adjustable Smith bar catches, an Olympic free weight rack, cable routed pulley system, and a multifunctional weight bench that includes a total leg developer, an Olympic sleeve for the developer, a bicep preacher curl, and a preacher pad.

The 7-degree slant bench is designed around natural body movements during exercise. This machine is constructed with heavy-duty tubular steel and finished in a durable powder coat. This machine is designed for safety as well as power, made with 2,000-pound tensile strength aircraft cables and an “off-floor” base to optimize stability. The adjustable bar catches and safety stoppers ensure extra protection. Attachments included for your best workout are a lat bar, triceps rope, shiver bar, ankle strap, chrome row handle, and 2 single handles.

Great Home Gym

We were looking for a complete home gym that wasn't extremely expensive since we don't have any local gyms in our area to go to. We found this online and it seemed to fit the bill perfectly. After reading lots of reviews we decided it would be perfect but was a little apprehensive about assembly due to that being the most common issue in the reviews. However, we ordered the unit on a Monday, it arrived on Thursday with free delivery. We spent an hour or so on Friday unpacking everything and laying it out. Since none of the parts were numbered we identified each part and numbered it according to the instructions for ease of assembly. On Saturday we spent about 6 hours, just my husband and myself (ages 62 and 58) and assembled the entire thing including the bench with no problems. I was actually surprised how easy it was to assemble. One thing to note, the hardware is numbered on the cardboard it is heat-sealed to so we left all hardware on the cardboard and only removed the pieces we needed for the step we were on. It seemed by reading the reviews that many people just dumped all the hardware out and then tried to figure out what bolts, nuts, washers..etc were needed. We have been using the machine for several days now and we're completely satisfied with it. Since we have only had it for about a week I can not attest to durability but it appears to be of good quality construction and nothing has gone wrong with it so far.

The product itself is an amazing value and I feel like I've gotten the best of the best. I think it is very comparable to products costing 3-5x more. I feel like I can do everything with this equipment I did in expensive gyms - and it is all in my own home now! I personally and not a big fan of bench pressing with hotel weight stacks - they are cable-based and always feel awkward and ineffective. This system combines both a bench press, and smith, and cable work in the absolute minimum floorspace. The bench is really high quality and the smith-machine flows professionally. The cable system is decent, esp. once we added a little oil so it would glide better.
To complete this, you need to spend a bit of money for accessories. It does not come with the barbell weights and a good quality weight set will set you back a few hundred. You can get Olympic Style weights. The front hooks also accommodate another Olympic freeweight barbell of 7". This allows you to lift with a spotter as an alternative to bench pressing on the smith machine. Trying to spot with this is a bit cramped but workable once you get used to it. I would also recommend a few dumbbells and you may want rubber flooring depending on where you are going to install it.
Assembly is extremely tough but I view it as part of the cost savings. The cable system in particular is extremely vexxing. We hired a professional to assemble it and it took him at least 6 hours.
Overall, you get a very professional gym-quality olympic system for $1500-$2000 that fits just about anywhere in your home! It arrives quickly and in prestine condition when ordered from vm innovations. I asked Customer Service about adding the barbell and they responded promptly and accurately to my question.

This is one of the smartest purchase i've made in this new year, after searching for a great deal on this smith machine , i came across VMinnovations site which had the best price by far, so without hesitation i've purchased it and WOW!!! i'm so pleased with it.
I've recieved the order sooner than expected and it was FREE SHIPPNG!!! mind you this product weighs about 400lbs consisting of 3 large cartons shipped by freight on pallet and well packaged with NO DAMAGES!
I've been using it to workout five times a week and its amazing! you get a total body workout with it. i would highly recommend this to those who wants to get into shape.
The only down side is, if you don't mind it, was the assembly, I knew before hand it was going to be a challenge, but i was up to the task, so i've clocked my finished assembly at 15hrs all by myself. (i was determined to say the least) at the end, the results was worth it.
I will definitely come back to this website for future purchases since i had a wonderful first experience.
