Great for planters

I plant peppers in a small raised bed in the back yard and was offered to try this compost and manure a shot. Once my seedlings were ready to be planted in the C&M they started to really thrive. It's been about a month and my plants have already started budding peppers. Par for the course but that's still wonderful. The soil looks and feels like it's great for the plants and I'm very happy with everything so far.

helps upgrade the soil

We live in West Texas and the soil is sandy and hard. This bag of Lawn Garden Compost and Manure Blend by Michigan Peat comes in a 40 pound bag. It contains organic peat and manure. Best part is that it does not smell. Contains nutrients to help improve your soil quality and help your plants vegetables or grass to grow better. We just used it to help our new grass take root. Definitely recommend

good quality

I am getting my beds vegetable beds ready for next year. The compost and manure mixture from Michigan Peat didn't clump and was easy to use. The smell is earthy as it should be. All I did was mix into my beds. Next year I'm hoping that the beds will be enriched and easy to turn over.

Rich dark soil with no odor

I used in my raised tomatoes bed and my herb garden. Very easy to spread. Nice rich dark soil and odor free. Its smooth with no gravel pebbles or twigs. I love that its all nature with organic reed sedge peat and composted animal manure. Very good quality. My herbs really love the soil. They are growing fast and very healthy. I had enough left over to mix with some soil so I could patch up some bare spots in my yard. I put grass seed down and added as top soil. Can't wait to see how grass will look in the spring.

Garden Compost

I'm not really sure how to do a review for garden compost. This is a mixture of compost and manure blend. Now it does say on the bag that it is odor free. I mean let's get real it does smell like dirt. LOL. It is very smooth consistently there's no rocks or sticks and stuff like that which I have come across in other compost and blends that I put in my garden. This is a smooth mixture. We tilled our garden and added this and just put it on top and just mixed it a little with our existing soil. And then put straw on it. we are going to plants our strawberries in this for the upcoming season.

Wonderful product!

I got this bag because I am a science teacher and planning to do an experiment for the kids called Plant replant and grow from food scraps. It was enough to make an experiment for all the graders and it’s helping the food scraps grow quickly in.
