I really like the bigger capacity of this compared to my last one I had. It catches sawdust and larger debris perfectly and does an excellent job separating the debris. The true test was when I used it for drywall dust and I’m shocked at how well it worked. Oneida is well-known for its high quality. This unit is no exception. I’ve beat and banged it all around my shop and it has held up nicely. This have been a life saver for my shop vac filter. The suction is unparalleled in this market. This fits the standard 2.5 hose hookup on most models.

I used to go through so many filters using my shop vacuum as they would constantly get clogged up with sawdust. Since using this all the sawdust gets separated out before reaching the filter. Sawdust isn't a problem anymore!

Highly Functional and built to last

It's great that this product is so well thought out and designed. The clarity of the feed tubing as well as the separation chamber makes it easy to see any larger chunks that the Dust Deputy sifts out saving them from going into the dust collection system. It's a great innovation allowing the vacuum system to work on the finer dust particles.

Great dust separator!

When I saw this Oneida dust separator equipment I wanted to try it. I have always wanted to do something with my table saw to help contain the dust generated while ripping lumber. I built a crude hopper for the bottom of my table saw added a 1&1/2 pvc to the bottom that I was able to attach the included flex hose to with a hose clamp. The unit itself is very easy to assemble the lid assembly fits perfectly on top of a five gallon plastic bucket. The instructions are clear on assembly and how to hook up your own shop vac. Once I had my shop vac hooked up to the dust separator system I was ready for ripping. I have to say that I was very impressed with how well this worked. The sawdust separated into the bucket while keeping the shop vac clean. Instead of having a big cleanup I just lifted the lid assembly off of the bucket and all the sawdust is contained in the bucket. Easy cleanups from now on!

Great idea

I am in the middle of renovating my basement amd the drywall dust was horrible and hard to clean up. This attachment makes it so I can now use my shop vac to clean it up and not worry about ruining the vacuum. It is easy ti attach to the vacuum and works well.

Good vacuum

This is a good picker upper vacuum with the regular vacuum. It helps keeps the dust inside the machine. It has a little whirl spin to it. I like it because it helps calm the loud sound too the vacuum makes

I received mine was kind of confused when I got it it fits on mine but I wish it fit snugger so it had a better suction while using it or maybe it’s just my shot back who knows but it still does work with a little section I do get
