This goat/sheep feeder from Rugged Ranch really is rugged, as in "durable". The steel is heavy guage and well galvanized. The "V" rack for the alfalfa is well designed, and the whole feeder assembled in about 15 minutes. The legs attach with their pipe threaded male end into the threaded female base on the feed pan. Have been using it for 6 days, and already a lot less waste of good alfalfa b/c our goats can't tear through the bale looking for just the flake. Less waste, less mess. I would buy another w/o hesitation.

We are beginners with baby goats and this is perfect!! It was super easy to set up boyfriend says it is high quality and he can tell it will last a long time. Has withstood some bad weather already and the goats love it!

This feeder is perfect size for some goats! It fits a whole a bale of hay!! It feels pretty durable and it was pretty easy to assemble. It might work for other small farm animals.

When I received this it was in a huge box however it was super easy to put together. The instructions were so easy to follow and it took less than 15 minutes to put it together. Also my goats really enjoy this because it feeds the food through the gaps. Overall this is such a great quality product and sturdy!

I bought this for my goats and it worked out perfectly..they love it and it makes it easier for me to feed them also I don't loose as much feed using this..I will be recommending this to everyone I know

This hay feeder is not only built perfectly for small livestock it is also made to last obvious by the durable galvanized parts. Easy to assemble use and I am enjoying it 100 percent!

My family has a farm and we love using Rugged Ranch Products. When we received the 4 foot galvanized steel pasture feeder I was not expecting for it to be so heavy. It was easy to assemble (I had my father assemble it) and instructions were easy to understand. Once out on the farm the goats had no problem getting acquainted with their new feeder. It’s sturdy and great quality!

This feeder has worked out perfectly. It works perfect for feeding sheep and would work great for any other big livestock. It’s very heavy duty and withstands the weather very well.

We have a 2 horses and some other livestock on our property. We live in a township which is basically a suburb so we keep it small. This feeder is perfect for our needs. It holds a perfect amount of food for our animals. It was really easy to put together with like 4 bolts. It is made really well. It is very sturdy while they are eating and is high enough they don’t have to put their heads down to far to grab some food. Overall we’re very happy with this for our needs.

This is perfect for out small homestead. We have goats and a sheep (who thinks she’s a goat). It was easy to put together and easy to load. Would definitely recommend. If we were to get more animals we’d definitely look into adding another one. Thankfully this one is plenty large enough for our current animal size. It is really well Made and sturdy which is important with farm animals.

I got to say I was quite surprised by this when it first arrived. I'm not used to such heavy and well made products anymore. Now you usually get junk that's going to break in a couple days. This thing I don't think you could break. It would take a lot to do so anyway. I'm very pleased with this feeder

This feeder is perfect. It is well made. You do have to put it together however it only took us 5 minutes. Super easy to load and tall enough for a full grown horse.
