The case is constructed with a one-piece base made from Roto-Molded Linear Medium Density Polyethylene (LMDPE), offering exceptional durability and impact resistance. The front, rear, and top lids are injection molded from Rubber Modified Styrene (RMS), adding further strength while keeping the overall weight manageable. The hard flat top is designed for easy stacking during transport or storage, and the spacious interior allows enough room to mount an optional AV-8 shelf—even with the lid closed.

Side access ports allow for clean and organized cable routing, enhancing functionality without compromising protection. For added security, the case features SKB’s patented TSA-approved Trigger Latch locking system.
