Skil-Care 706055 Lateral Support with Adjustable Panels for Wheelchairs, Medium

If you or your loved one is bound to a wheelchair, any amount of support is needed and appreciated. Get some extra support with the Skil-Care Lateral Support in Medium.

This lateral support prevents lateral leaning in the wheelchair, Geri-chair, or even standard chairs. The sides are adjustable to accommodate a variety of body widths for support. These sides are designed to fit below the axilla to not be an obstacle to your ability to hand-propel the wheelchair. At medium size, the adjustable sides can fit torso widths from 10 inches to 15 inches.

To install this lateral support to your wheelchair or chair, separate the width adjustment panels, and set the panels so the distance between the side pads can fit the width of the person in the chair. After that, hang the support from the wheelchair handles with the Velcro tabs, and ensure that the strap is secure and tight around the back of the wheelchair. Once the backrest pad is secure to the adjustment panels, you can adjust the height of the side pads.

This support is easy to clean with a spray-and-wipe cleanser. Prevent lateral leaning with the Skil-Care Lateral Support in Medium.
