Made for the Sta-Rite System 2, this Sta-Rite PLM150 Pool Filter is a reinforced polyester cartridge that provides maximum filtration and easily traps dirt and debris so you can swim in crystal clear water and have fun in the sun. Things like mineral scale, oils and rust build up in filters, so make sure you have extra Sta-Rite pool filter on hand, so you can spend more time enjoying your pool and less time maintaining it.
This filter cartridge replacement is easy to install and has reinforced end caps for improved stability. An increased pleat count creates better water filtration and cross-bands prevent pleat damage.

VMI personnell were great. Unfortunately, the band around the filter was damaged, which will reduce its useful life. I am sure the damage occured at the sta-rite factory when it was placed in the shipping box. I needed to install the filter immediately so I decided to accept the damaged filter.
I have bought many of these filters from VMI and have always been pleased with their service. Pricing and service are great.

After pricing the same filter at a local pool supply store at nearly 300.00, (Not including installation) I decided to purchase the filter online and follow the instructions to install it. The process was pretty straightforward and the instructions were clear. I was a bit worried when previous reviews stated difficulty with fitting the filter into the pump canister but my only problem was prying the slightly stuck lid off the unit because the O-ring inside had probably not been kept properly lubricated. I would recommend that you purchase that part as well when replacing the filter cartridge if you are not sure of it’s age or condition. Thankfully the O-ring and lid came off intact, the filter slipped right into place easily and after lubricating the O-ring I replaced the lid and everything was running soon after! I was very pleased with the product and ease of use, not to mention savings of 350.00 from what it would have cost to have had the pool company sell and install the same thing. Probably would take them 15 minutes to do it, my first time took an hour. I am a 6 Plus decades old Woman!

The filter is working well; however, it does not fit into the system. The connecting opening is to small. In this age of technology, I am expecting perfectly connecting filter. Please do not sell it if it is not right!!!!
