- When you purchase an Instep or Schwinn bicycle trailer (both brands from the same manufacturer, Pacific Cycle), your trailer comes with one coupler piece included. Installation may take 5-10 minutes, but once installed it only takes seconds to attach trailer to a bike every time you plan to go for a ride.
- However, if you want to switch bikes, you will have to uninstall the coupler from the first bike and install it on the second bike, which may take 10-15 minutes making the switch, making this very inconvenient on a regular basis. Extra couplers allows you to install them on as many bikes as you want and not to ever go through the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling a coupler from one bike to another!
