The high purity fine sand produces little dust, having been subjected to a multi stage cleaning process that removes larger particles and cleans away harmful particulates. This results in a soft comfortable silt that is fun to play in that doesn't irritate the skin. Fully washed the sand looks beautiful with a clean white color that resembles a real beach. The 50 pound bag fills an area of 18 inches by 18 inches up to 3 inches deep. Check with the manufacturer of your sandbox or sand table to ensure you have the proper amount of sand.
