At only 13.5 pounds, the Feather Chair is one of the lightest wheelchairs on the planet. Taking advantage of brand-new materials, the Featherweight sets a new standard. Practically everyone can lift this wheelchair into your car, truck, or SUV, and is super easy to propel and push.

The total weight of the wheelchair is 19 pounds and only 13.5 pounds with the detachable rear wheels removed. A wheelchair of this weight is revolutionary for wheelchair users and caregivers everywhere! Designed with a maximum weight capacity of 250 pounds, the wheelchair seat measures 18 inches wide, 16 inches deep, and 17.5 inches high.

For easy transportation and storage, the chair folds down into a compact package, you simply fold down the backrest and then pull up the middle of the seat. 1-inch soft cushioning on the seat and backrest keep users comfortable during extended use. Standard features include wheel locks at the front of the frame. For the caregiver, there is an integrated braking system, operated by bicycle-style locking brake levers located at the push handles.

Required Actions

We will need your phone number for the delivery. The carrier will need to call you in order to set up a delivery time. Please make sure the number you provide during checkout is the best one to reach you. If paying with PayPal, please make sure the number on your account is accurate.

You'll need to inspect your package upon arrival before you sign. If your order arrives damaged, you should sign "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt. If the item is damaged to the point that it is not usable, you can refuse the item.

Please notify and, if possible, send photos of any damage to vminnovations_help@email.spreetail.com, along with your order number. A member of our Customer Experience team will reach out to you with further instructions.

Delivery Information

At this time, we do not offer "in-home" deliveries. Your shipment must be delivered to the curbside and will require a signature. Please be sure you are able to move the item after it arrives, as the carrier will not be able to assist.

We do our best to ship orders as fast as we can. If you need to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible by calling our Customer Experience team at 866-639-9320. Please note that if we are unable to cancel your order before it ships, you will be responsible for the shipping charges.

If the item is returned from the freight company for any reason other than damage, additional shipping or storage fees may apply. Reasons may include invalid or incorrect address information, and incorrect phone number or contact information, or failing to schedule or missing an already scheduled delivery appointment.

If the item is delivered and a return is requested, the freight shipping fees will be deducted from the final refund amount.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SEVICE!!! SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Called customer service before placing my wheelchair order to make sure that it would arrive on time for an international trip. Customer service assured me that it would be delivered in time for my trip before placing my order. A few days later after placing my order, I noticed that my order had not shipped yet. I was nervous that it would not arrive on time so I called customer service again. This time they said that there was no way that the order would arrive on time and they refused to put a rush on the order even in light of my circumstances. So I asked VMI to please immediately cancel the order. Had I known that the order would not be filled. I have never have placed it . At this point, they said they could not cancel the order because it was in queue for shipment. Customer service said I would have to return the item after it arrived because there is no way to stop the order. Having returned my trip I contacted customer service for directions on how to return the order. I asked them to please cover the cost of return postage. They refused multiple times even though I had done everything possible to make sure that this transaction would go smoothly. They finally agreed to pay for a return postage only after threatening to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General’s office, and giving them a bad review.
