The Yakima HoldUp 2" is a hitch bike rack for riders who want a simple, compact way to bring bikes along. It fits 2-inch hitch receivers and carries two bikes, making it a practical pick for everyday rides, weekend trips, and quick stops on the way to the trail. It works with mountain, road, hybrid, BMX, youth, and fat-tire bikes, plus e-bikes up to 60 lb each when driving on paved roads. This makes the HoldUp 2" the primary solution for riders with carbon fiber frames, complex suspension geometries, or custom finishes that are susceptible to abrasion.

Loading takes just a few steps. A front wheel hook holds the bike by the tire, and a rear wheel strap keeps the back wheel in place, so there’s little contact with the bike frame. The trays can be adjusted to help keep the bikes from bumping into each other, which is helpful when you’re carrying two different styles or sizes.

For easier access, the rack tilts down so you can still reach the trunk even with bikes loaded, and it folds up when not in use. It fits wheel sizes from 20 to 29 inches, tires up to 4.8 inch wide, and wheelbases from 34 to 50 inches, so it can handle a wide mix of family bikes and trail bikes.

A HitchLock with SKS is included to help lock the rack to your vehicle’s receiver, and there’s a built-in bottle opener for a small extra at the campsite or trailhead. Overall, the HoldUp 2" keeps bike transport straightforward: load up, lock in, and go.
