I dont own a set but i have installed these subs for my friend and i had wired them at 2 omhs and they sounded clean with the boss phantom 2500.2 and they did nice and i wouldt do a 1 ohm wiring on them they wont be compatible if the subs are 4 ohm magnets /engein.these subs do hit hard and i got to say they did a good job im inpessed with boss !!!well done im a get a set when i get my bonus money from work !!!!

these subs are good there not meant to be wired 1 ohm thats just stupid.When you wire these right i would put them in a class with the higher dollar subs so with the right box and wiring these things can be really loud youll be louder than most people.two thumbs up boss audio.

everybody else dosent like these subs. i havent given my pair 4000 yet but i have ran them at 2 ohms with one 1000 watt amp it it sounded amazing! then i got another 1000 so im running 2000 to them and its doing fine! im loving them u can even find my video of them on youtube.

these subs are great if ran at 4ohm. and on a 1000w or less amp. but i buy 15s so i can drop them to one ohm and shake windows. but if you drop them to 1 omh or use an amp over 1000w say good bye to the voice coil. i had a 4000w boss armor mono block and the first set of them burned up in 1 minute. ( no lie ) the second pair burned up after 1 day, and my amp power was less than half and my d.b was on 8 pf 18. the bass on my headunit was on -6, and when it hit. you could smell it so strong, i will never buy boss products again... i know the price is right, but its a waist of money,
