Acoustic Audio by Goldwood 2.1 Channel Sound Bar with Wired Subwoofer, Black

The 2.1 Channel Sound Bar w/ wired subwoofer by Goldwood has excellent sound quality. I compare it to three old school surround sound systems people used to break the bank for. I was pleasantly surprised at the bass and sound that this sound bar produces and I would definitely recommend this to others looking for the great sound quality but minimal space.

I am not an audiophile so if you are looking for tech specs on sounds and things this isn't the review for you. When looking for a soundbar I just wanted something affordable that could amplify the sound a little bit had a subwoofer to add a little bass and was easy to install. This soundbar checked two of these three boxes for me. I think the sound from the soundbar is great and the subwoofer gives me the bass I need. I wish I could have gotten a little better instructions as far as the installation was concerned. I am not super techy so I didn't know that the HDMI cable had to be plugged into a certain HDMI ARC port. I would have loved the instructions to have given me this little tidbit of knowledge. In addition to that I had to go into the sound settings of my tv and select the proper speakers to use. I had to google to find this out and while I was able to accomplish the task it definitely took me some time and was a little frustrating. I don't know if it is unreasonable to ask for some mention of that process in the instructions.Overall it took me a couple of hours to get this soundbar installed properly but once I did I am very happy with it.

Setting up is really easy it's come with step by step instructions but it was straightforward. We connected to our tv and played some music. Good bass with no distortion. There are three listening modes music and movie mode is our favorite. The sound is crisp and clear. We decided to leave the speaker next to the tv. We planned to leave it behind the couch but didn't make any big difference in sound. The sound quality works well for our medium size living room. What a big difference when we watch a movie with Goldwood 2.1 Channel Sound Bar. TV speakers got nothing on this. My kids play video games with on and rubbles sound fill the room.

This duo of 2.1 Channel Sound Bar w/ Wired Subwoofer was wonderful. The action movies' sounds were packed with rich loud bombs and pows. The Tiny Desk concerts were smooth and melodic. Easy to set up!

I received this sound bar and LOVE it. We replaced the speakers we had in the living room and you can tell a HUGE difference. The sound is clear and loud! We love watching movies so it sets the scene in our living room. Feels like you are in the movie theater about to watch a surround sound movie! I absolutely love it and it has a sleek design so it fits great in the entertainment center.

So the 2.1 Goldwood sound bar works well and is very basic. But that is all that I needed. I needed something that was simple enough for my Mother in Law to use. Very basic. Treble. Bass. There is no mid adjustment which was a little disappointing. However the sound is pretty good. The subwoofer is wired but a thin gauge wire at that. Be very careful cause it isn’t that durable. The Bluetooth range is very good. Like I said this isn’t going to give you nose sound quality but you aren’t paying for that. If you’re looking to get a little more umph from your tv this is it. Especially with the subwoofer. It’s a good budget sound bar.

Very nice addition to my TV! Love how everything you need comes in the box. Simple instructions and easy to set up. The sound quality is excellent makes you feel like you're in the movies.

I got this sound bar and subwoofer to try because I have always wanted one to ingenue sound in movies to make it like I’m there kinda. It’s really nice and fits perfectly on my entertainment center and the sound is great! I would highly recommend!

This soundbar and subwoofer really improved the sound quality on my fairly old TV. The box includes all the cords needed for set up and provides an easy to understand instruction manual. Due to my TV being on the older side it only has 2 HDMI inputs which are being used for the cable box and a streaming device. I loved that this soundbar provides multiple options for connectivity and I was able to set mine up using the included optical cable. In addition I was able to connect my smart phone to the soundbar via bluetooth which works very nicely for playing music. Set up could not have been easier. Once all the cords were attached I only needed to use the remote to change the mode to optical and sound was immediately coming out of the bar. Overall complete setup took less than 15 minutes. It operates by using the included remote control (2 AAA batteries required) and it also has a on/off button and volume controls on the side of the bar for those times when the remote is missing in action. The remote control gives you the ability to switch between Movie Music or News and I did notice a difference in the sound when toggling between the different options. The soundbar fits nicely on my TV stand in front of my tv and is very sleek and attractive in appearance. The subwoofer has a slim small footprint and is sitting on the floor between the stand and a storage ottoman. The sound quality is great and fills the living room with the perfect amount of sound. I'm really impressed by this sound bar and look forward to watching many movies with it!

This sound bar and subwoofer is the best I have had. The sound is so clear and crisp. The subwoofer is a great addition and makes a lot of bass. When playing a movie it sounds like you are at a Movie Theater!
