We love camping and with camping you must have a campfire!We frequently forget to pack newspaper (our usual starter) so I thought this would be a perfect thing to try.Started with 2 lit them with a long lighter with some kindling on top and presto magic it started right up and lit the kindling!I love that there are no added chemicals just wood.Our fire pit sits low in a ring we dug out so we don't need to worry about wind when trying to light.

I had received this about a few weeks ago. I really like this firewood starter because it's so much easier to start my fire in my fire pit. I like the smell of the natural pine also. I would buy this again

We took these Fatwood fire starter sticks camping and they really saved us. It was a cold breezy evening and starting a fire and keeping it lit can be pretty tricky. We used about three sticks to light the fire. The sticks begin burning after you either the light ends for a few seconds or use some kindling to start the flame. Once the fire starter sticks light they stay burning for about 10 minutes allowing ample time for the logs to fully light. I liked the length of the sticks so the fire traveled to both sides of the logs.

I gotta say that I am a big fan of this product. Betterwood Products provides me with a firestarter that is both easy to use and natural. I like the nice thick quality pieces of pine that they actually cut by hand. The fatwood pine has a very pleasant sweet pine aroma that I noticed as well. I just feel that their firestarter really gets the job done for my needs. I know that I wouldn't look for anything else. It makes no sense for me to struggle trying to get a fire started anymore. Pine stumps are the best and the people at Betterwood Products cut them perfect every time so I never have to worry about getting my fire started from now on. I really like this product. I highly recommend it to everyone. It is easy to light even if you get it wet. Can't beat that! I got this a week ago and I had to bar b que to test them of course. They worked like a charm I was highly impressed by how fast thy lit. The pine resin saturated sticks have dried in the wood and aren't sticky. I definitely recommend it.

These Fatwood fire sticks work great. They save time when trying to start a fire. A couple of sticks is all that is needed much better and easier than newspaper.
