Broan-NuTone 36" Under Cabinet Range Hood, ENERGY STAR 490 Max Blower CFM, Steel

Improve kitchen ventilation with the Broan-NuTone under-cabinet range hood, designed to help manage smoke, odors, and airborne particles during everyday cooking. Built by a brand focused on residential indoor air quality, this range hood undergoes a detailed inspection process to support consistent performance and dependable operation in the kitchen.

The unit delivers up to 490 Max Blower CFM, and is equipped with SmartSense Auto Operation that automatically monitors and adjusts the ventilation power needed based on heat coming off the cooktop. Despite its output, the range hood operates at approximately 1.1 sones on working speed, which is comparable to the sound of a running refrigerator, allowing it to function without adding significant noise to your space.

For added convenience, the Glacier range hood features a 3-speed blower adjusted through a whisper touch infrared control. This allows you to adjust ventilation levels based on your cooking needs. Two integrated LED lighting modules provide adjustable illumination over the cooktop, helping improve visibility while preparing food.

Installation is designed to be straightforward with the EZ1 Install System, allowing for a faster setup process that can be completed by one person. The unit is also convertible, supporting top or rear venting configurations, as well as non-ducted operation when paired with compatible charcoal filters (sold separately). It can be hardwired or used with an optional power cord kit for added flexibility.

ENERGY STAR certification supports efficient operation and aligns with code requirements for electric ranges. Optional make-up air dampers can be used to help balance airflow when the unit is in use.

With its combination of airflow performance, quieter operation, and practical controls, the Broan-NuTone under-cabinet range hood offers a reliable solution for maintaining a more comfortable kitchen environment.
