We have gone through multiple brands and types of stairs for our pool and these are buy far the best! Very durable strong set of stairs. These stairs do not tip or move when climbing on them they make it so i feel safe with the kids getting in and out worth every penny

We got a pool this summer and it automatically came with a ladder. It was skinny and hurt our feet when we got in and out. We figured we would give this ladder a try because the steps were wide and we love it. It doesn't hurt our feet at all. We also love the ladder has a roll up door to cover the steps instead of having to remove the ladder each time. Definitely recommend.

This Confer Plastics Adjustable A-Frame Above Ground Swimming Pool Ladder is everything we needed to fully enjoy our pool this summer. The ladder that came with our pool is just not sturdy or safe. This Confer ladder is superior in all aspects. From the start it was very easy to assemble with just the two of us. Fit perfectly over our pool with a slight adjustment. The stability is of paramount importance since I am pregnant and have a little toddler to look after. Both my toddler and I can safely enter and exit our pool with ease. And perhaps the most important feature of this ladder is its safety cover that slides and locks over the steps so little ones cannot access the pool!

This ladder is the best! Easy to assemble with clearly marked instructions. We filled the side rails with water once we had ladder in place. The ladder is sturdy and good quality materials. Very well made. Has a good size platform so toddlers can stand and sit. Very roomy. Easy to climb in and out. I love that this ladder has a locking slide door. Love the security so kids can't get into the pool. It has a lock where you can lock the slide when not in use and unlock when you want to use it. Can lock and not worry about kids climbing in.I had a little trouble unlocking the sliding door but my husband has no trouble. I think over time and use it will be easier for me.I love this ladder and how safe it is for the kids.

This is a very sturdy ladder. It was a little difficult to put together and definitely is a two plus person job. I am much more comfortable using this ladder than the one that came with our pool. It is very tall. We have a 4 1/2 foot pool and the top step is still about a foot above the top of our frame. I also like the safety feature of being able to cover the steps when not in use. Over all very satisfied.

I wanted a ladder for our pool that wasn’t metal and was practical to use for kids being a mom to 3 safety was my number one priority. This ladder is extremely practical it’s easy to set up and my 250 pound all muscle husband was held for a while! This ladder will definitely last for years to come! Definitely recommend!!

This is a sturdy ladder that is great for the pool! I like the style it gives rather than just a plain ladder. It also is easy for the kids to get up on. You can tell that it was made to last and not tear up easily. It has been a good one so far!

This latter is very well made and I love the safety features built into it to help protect my child. Assembly simply was extremely easy and didn’t take much time at all. The color even matches the trim of my pool.

By far the absolute best pool ladder ever. It was super simple to put together. The fact that it has a thing that covers the steps when not in use is super amazing. We have small kids that play near our house so when we aren't using the pool I would just take the ladder out and that got to be a hassle. So now all I have to do is roll the thing down over the steps and nobody can get in the pool without me knowing. Love this so much.

The pool ladder is actually extra heavy duty I like it I give it a 10 out of 10. It's heavy duty and it works great I recommend this if anybody wants to get a pool with the letter.

When I got this I was so freaking happy! My pool was in need of a new ladder and this came in just in time for pool season. It’s amazing and sturdy great for kids and elders. This ladder is a must have.

I was so excited when I got this ladder. But it was difficult to assemble and still lacked the stability I thought I would. My husband is a bigger guy but well under the max weight limit and the ladder wobbled and the stairs bowed when he used it.

This is a nice sturdy pool ladder. Fairly easy to put together, although the instructions aren't the greatest. I like the fact that you can secure the steps with a roll down panel with lock to prevent use. High quality product. Received product super fast after placing order.

I work on many many military systems and deal with "mechanical engineers".. With that being said, the ME on this system did an excellent job keeping EVERYONE in mind.  My 6 year old and 10 year old put 95% of it together. I conducted the last 5% and QA on the assembly.
I am using it on a Coleman/Intex above ground 48" pool with salt water filter.. So I wanted to ensure that the ladder did not rust like the one that came with the pool.
The instructions said that you "might have to use a 5/16th drill bit to drill out 2 holes".  You will have to.. BUT the person that did the documentation fell a bit short. You cannot push 1/4" bolts through a 5/16th hole.. Use a 1/4" drill bit in lieu of the 5/16ths bit in the instructions.
The hardware is Stainless Steel, based on my rare earth magnets I would say it is at least 18-8 stainless, it might even be 316 stainless.  Regardless, its REAL STAINLESS STEEL Hardware. 
The locking mechanism functions great. ENSURE you put the padlock (That is supplied @ no additional charge) on the locking mechanism BEFORE you push in the locking mechanism or you will never get the lock in.
