Intex Heavy Duty Aluminum Solar Reel

Absolutely love the heavy duty Intex Solar Reel. It is strong and it does not bend with the weight of the solar cover. Highly recommend !!!

Love it!!!! One person operations.

I am so glad I purchased this. Before... I was rolling and lugging the solar cover on and off every day, dragging the dripping thing into the shade to keep it from melting, and getting beaucoup de grass clippings etc. in the pool every evening when I put it back on. Hard work and time consuming, and ruining my enjoyment of the pool. With the reel, I can easily roll up and roll out the cover in less than a minute. The directions say you need two people, but I can easily do it myself. Note that you need a cover/tarp to put over it in the hot sun (while it's rolled up) to keep it from melting. The product itself was well packaged, seems to be well made and very easy to install. I am a little bummed at the amount of space it takes up at the end of the pool, seems like it could have attached off the end cap instead of the side rails so it would hang off the pool instead of over it, but all in all I am happy happy happy with this item. We installed it on a 12 x 24 Intex frame pool.
