With all-natural sun usage, this heating panel requires no electricity. Using the natural power of the sun to warm your pool water, the mat increases the temperature by approximately 5 to 9 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the weather. Designed to work with a variety of Intex filter pumps, this heater is compatible with filter pumps with up to 1/3 HP or a pump flow rate of less than 2,000 GPH. Suitable for above-ground pools of up to 8000 gallons.

This mat functions well with multiple solar pads, coming with adapters and attachment points that fit 1.25 and 1.5-inch hoses. It’s been a week now does not heat the pool at all maybe need to of them? Also cuts down pressure...

Per instructions my pool only needed one of these water temperature coming out not hot not freezing but cool may need to add second one for water and heat up in secondary

Not warming tiny and even in over 100 degree sun it's still cold water running into the pool. Not...

I was very disappointed. Tiny water channels puts back into pool cold water not warm at all. I have a 100 plus in sun degrees and still not warming water in the mat.

Where are the zero stars?

The thing just doesn't work. If the weather outside is warm enough, it'll be just as warm with this. There's no difference. The sun has to be hitting it directly for it to make a dent but if the sun's hitting this directly, it's probably hitting your pool directly as well. Might as well buy a solar cover and save yourself the money.

Not good

It didn't work. I say it wasn't what i exspected. Didn't warm up water before it went back in pool. Small baby pool I not happy.

all i can say at this point is the heater is just like what is shone also i have had several intex products through the years and have no serious problems with any and this looks no different but i am in missouri and it looks like we may not have a summer so as of now this solar heater is with the new intex pool awaiting at least spring so i can get it all set up i dont forsee any problems but time will tell.

Solar Mat/Sol Needed

This items needs full sun and it will only warm the water already in the channels of mat but it quickly cools down once the colder water in the pool begins to pass through. Even in direct sunlight with 88 degree conditions the mat just does not retain the suns heat to warm up the water. Its definately a GREAT concept but needs a little tweaking to have the plastic warmed or a resovoir that is electrically operated to maintain warm water.
