John Boos Prestige Maple Wood Edge Grain Kitchen Cutting Board,18" x 12" x 1.25"

This board is all i could ask for a perfect cutting board. The size is just right not too big to take lots of space still enough space for cutting. However because this one is very durable due to the material so it’s a bit heavy when carry or holding the board. That is not a big disadvantage since I use this board to cut food not for carry around.

This is a great quality cutting board. I’ve been using it for roughly a month and it still looks brand new no nicks or scratches. The ridge around the border is so helpful for preventing mess and making clean up easy. This board is also versitial in addition to using it as a cutting board I like to flip it over and used the smooth side as a cheese board. It’s the perfect size for all of my needs.

This is hands down the best cutting board brand. It is so durable and super heavy. I got the size 18 x 12 x 1.25 and its the perfect size for all types of food. I honestly recommend buying this board. You can easily tell this is gonna last me for a while. I also recommend buying an oiling product for your board.

This Boos board is amazing! It's huge letting me prep a whole meal at once. The juice grooves are a lifesaver catching all the mess. It's super heavy which I love - no sliding around while I'm chopping. The craftsmanship is top-notch; you can tell it's built to last. It's basically transformed my kitchen into a pro workspace. Sure it's pricey but totally worth it for serious home cooks. Can't imagine cooking without it now! Easy to clean up after too!

This is a lovely cutting board! It’s pretty thick the material is 100% wood and it provides lots of space! It is a bit heavy though. Either way I’ve loved using it! It’s luxurious and I don’t have to worry about plastics getting into my fruits and veggies with this board.

I love using a cutting board for charcuterie and this is my new favorite. The board is extremely sturdy and heavy. It’s easy to clean and has a very sleek look to keep out on a counter.

I am a loving kitchen-person and this cutting board is the best thing I has been dreaming. The size is perfect not too heavy as I have thought. The material is so good easy to clean. I did tried to cut a big bone beef it is still very good after a big cut on it. Love it so much!

What a great cutting board!!! I was reading the booklet that came with it and all their products are certified for sanitation food safety and quality. This one I feel is the perfect size for meat. The design is really elegant and could be used as a charcuterie board.

This cutting board is absolutely insane. The durability and material quality is for sure top notch. I use it to cut my melons and love the dip!!!!

I really love this cutting board overall. I’m always a huge fan of wood cutting boards though I didn’t realize there was maintenance involved lol so thank you to John Boos for including the care instructions. The board is sturdy and big my biggest one yet but I appreciate the size. I also LOVE the groove to catch any juices or liquids. It’s effective and wide enough to clean easily. My one complaint is the weight. It’s heavy. Obviously that means it’s thick and made with quality materials but it’s just too heavy to lift and easily sweep my veggies into a pan. I’ll 100% keep using it though it’s a lovely piece and it stays on my counter against the wall because it’s pretty.

This board is 18 by 12 in. and 1.5 in. thick. It is made of Maple wood that is strong and durable. With proper core this beautiful board should last for years to come. Easy clean up with just soap and water. I recommend using food grade mineral oil to keep from drying out.

This is a perfect size for home prep. After oiling it and letting it sit overnight it was ready to go. The wood is thick stunning and a dream to cut on.

This is a really good chopping board. It’s heavy so you know it’s not going to break easily and is very durable. I love the size because I can chop multiple things on it together. It’s such a pretty wooden board that I would also use it as a cheese board at a party!

I love the size of this cutting g board it’s not to big where I can’t store it in a safe place but it’s not to small where it disappears. The material is amazing I find wooden cookware so much easier and cleaner to use for your food . The maintenance for it is also super easy. Love love love it.

I have been wanting a wooden cutting for the longest and this one is super great. Its heavy easy to use and cut vegetables and meat with. The groove is such a plus to catch liquids in and minimize the mess. Brb throwing my plastic cutting board away now ✌🏻

When I open the box after I received this package the board is quite heavy very durable. I did cut a couple vegetables on it. It’s not like the ones I have bought at Marshalls. 

This was a very solid piece of wood used to make the cutting board. It is large enough to cut up meat fruits or vegetables. It will definitely last me a long time as I am moving off to college. I checked out their website to purchase more products.

OH WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY!!! Best cutting board I have ever used. It is deffinatley solid and you can use either side to cut on. The size is 18×12×1.25 To clean it you can use vinegar or bleach and water. It is not dishwasher safe. The wood can warp in dishwasher so never put it in there. To maintain the life of it there is a John Boos mystery oil to apply monthy. It can last many years if taken care of properly. The quality it amazing and the wood is so smooth to touch. If you don't have one it should be a staple in your kitchen. You will not regret it!!

I have never used a wood cardboard cutting board before so I was excited to try it. I love how easy it is to clean. I use it all the time and look forward to trying it with new foods.

The quality is above and beyond. I like the size of it and that I can cut anything on it now and it will be still enough space I already ordered expensive knives and they won’t get destroyed because the wood cutting board is the best to keep them in good condition. There’re also edges that are making this board just perfect. People who love cooking or just spending a lot of time at the kitchen will understand what I mean about the edges it’s super convenient. Also John Boos cutting boards are NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certified and meet the strict requirements for food safety sanitation and quality. This brand has a history and probably the best in what they’re doing. It’s easy to maintain the cutting board just once in a month depends on how often used to apply John Boos mystery oil or board cream but never use any other cooking oils on it.

This is a great cutting board. It is very nice quick to clean naturally antibiotic and sturdy. size is good. plenty of space for thing received in good condition just love how it looks in my kitchen highly recommend this board.

It’s a good size it looks like the material wood is really strong my only issue is that is really heavy but overall excellent cutting board highly recommend it

Just received my Boos cutting board! After being away from wood cutting boards for years I am now so excited to throw out my old plastic boards and use only this board. The craftsmanship is beautiful. It is sturdy and stays put on the counter. I went online and ordered the mystery oil to treat the cutting board properly. No need to store this away it looks great on the counter!Enjoy!

The John Boos cutting board is a superb kitchen addition. The size is perfect for any sort of meal prep you might have. It could also work well as a charcuterie board. The wood seems high quality and very durable. There is a large deep groove near the edge to prevent spilling which I greatly appreciate. The cut out on the corner is great for getting a secure grip on the board. My only con is that it is a little large for my small kitchen. Cleaning and storing the cutting board takes a little creativity. Overall this is an excellent choice.
