John Boos Maple Wood End Grain Cutting Board for Kitchen Prep, 24" x 18" x 2.25"

This cutting board is huge! I ended up using it in my bar area for bar prep and put bottles on top of it. Super high quality material and looks great! Long time Boos Board fan and this product is no exception.

I am delighted with the quality of this board. It is made of thick robust and dense wood. I have cut bread and vegetables on it but it is best suited for cutting meat. I do not eat meat often but I will definitely use this board for parties when many appetizers and salads are required and the presentation is also excellent. It brings color and authenticity to the kitchen interior. It is a full-fledged table! Large and heavy it stands firmly in place and does not creep away while cutting. There are practically no marks from the knife on it. Nice and comfortable handles. Easy to carry. The complementary oil is a nice bonus. Thank you! Very happy with the product! This is the pearl of my kitchen. I recommend it to all professional chefs and professionals and those who want a little color in their interior. It's a worthy product. I hope it will serve me for a long time!

This isn’t just a cutting board this is a beautiful butchers block to add to your kitchen. The size alone is enough to make my own pasta on it and cut it. It comes with a mystery oil that you use to season the block. The die and weight shows it’s made of good maple woods. It’s easy to clean with no chemicals. I can see this being passed down to my kids when they have a house of their own.

First off I’d like to point out just how large this cutting board is! See the photos to get an idea of how it takes up a lot of space on our table but also how big it is in comparison to our Loki who demanded he be included in the photo. The material is high quality wood and we loved that it came with the special oil to help preserve the integrity of the product. Easy to take care of but hard for us to find an appropriate space to store it because of its size and weight. I’d take a guess that it weighs anywhere from 10-15 pounds although I can’t say exactly because I don’t have a scale handy. We were pleasantly surprised when we received it in the mail as it was also packaged minimally but with the correct materials to also keep it safe from damage during shipping. Would highly recommend this brand to anyone looking for a quality wood cutting board. Such a nice cutting board! We love it. It’s durable and well crafted.

Wow I was not expecting such a high quality cutting board thank you so much! This is very well made it’s very heavy and durable. It has indents on the sides that act as handles. This is perfect for all my baking! I love making cinnamon rolls and pies! Can also make a great charcuterie board for large gatherings! This is amazing! This cutting board is huge but sturdy and easy to carry. I like that it's a good quality wood and they even included some oil to moisturize the board for longevity.

I received the Boos Block cutting board and I did not expect it to be this big and heavy. This cutting board is amazing. It has indents handles on its side for easy holding. The wood is perfectly sanded and soft. It comes with mystery oil for preservation and safe for food. This cutting board will be passed through generations. This cutting board is HUGE and it’s quite heavy. Not the best for everyday use. But you can tell this is a high quality cutting board. It comes with a food safe oil to use. I honestly recommend.

First off let me say i obviously read the size wrong cause I was SHOCKED to see how big this thing is. But it is very high quality wood and looks very nice! I honestly have a little trouble washing it due to its size but otherwise it’s a great cutting board. It’s gets the big jobs done but not practical for everyday tasks or someone with a small house and no storage.

I recently purchased a John Boos cutting board and I couldn't be happier with the quality. The craftsmanship is evident in the smooth finish and sturdy construction. The board has a substantial weight which helps it stay securely in place during use adding to its overall durability. Additionally it comes with a packet of mystery oil a thoughtful inclusion to keep the cutting board in tip-top shape. The included packet is not resealable so you will need to ensure you purchase something to maintain and care for the surface of the cutting board. This cutting board is great but I was not expecting it to weight almost 30lbs! I had initially planned for this to be used in the kitchen but I will be building a prep table for my grill that will include this as a prep and cutting surface. Overall the John Boos cutting board is an exceptional addition to any kitchen.

You will be surprised with its size and quality it is perfect for chopping anything as hard as bones it is heavy and sturdy in your hand that is why it is different from other cutting boards. price always goes hand in hand with quality so have at least one in your kitchen easy to clean after u use I love it

This thing is huge! You are not going to take it out to cut an onion but if you are slicing a watermelon or trimming a whole brisket you will be happy you have the space. Because it is so big it is fairly heavy so you know it will stay in place while you are using it. It is a little difficult to clean especially if you have a double tub sink. If you have a farmhouse sink you should have no problem. Overall it is not a board I will pull out for everyday tasks but I am happy I have it for the times I need it.
