This automatic water trough hooks up with the included 30-inch hose to a standard 3/4-inch water hose or faucet. That means you can easily get water to this float-controlled water trough without any complicated plumbing. A 4-gallon capacity makes this auto livestock waterer ideal for horses and cattle, and when the water level drops below a certain level, the waterer will automatically refill itself from the hose.

This automatic water trough includes metal brackets for over-the-fence or on-the-wall installation (hardware not included). So wherever you have hose access and a solid object on the farm, watering the horses just got a whole lot easier.

I bought this about a month ago and I am happy that did! I got this because I thought this would be a perfect watering system for my ducks. It makes my routine easier since I don't have to change out the water bowls as much. I put this in a different location then their food and water bowls so they can have fresh water in their muck around area.

This has been a huge plus around here. If you live in the boonies or even if you don't and you have lots of animals. This is for you. We have cattle goats dogs etc. This is close by the house for the animals when they are near. The dogs enjoy it some much and I know our goatsdo too. It's not huge hooks on a fence and you hook up the water hose so easy!

This Little Giant water trough is exactly what I needed! I can rest easy knowing that my animals always have a full bowl of fresh water. My goats go through their water quicker than normal some days and when I go to refill their basin is already dry which always made me feel bad. This does an excellent job keeping the water at a consistent level easily. Setup was very simple just attached it to my barn wall and install the hose onto it. I have noticed that it doesn’t get slimy like other troughs but when a cleaning is due it is easy to clean as well.

The horses love it!

I got the Little Giant 4 gallon float controlled water trough a few months ago I installed it in my horses pasture by myself with the use of just a drill. The instillation was extremely easy. I just put it over the wood railing drilled the screws into the wood and attached the hose that I used to use to fill their buckets every day. The horses love having fresh water all day and I love not having to refill their buckets all the time! I would absolutely buy this again!

I wasn't sure if this was going to work I have dogs that live outside and I am always worried about fresh water. I was currently using a trough it works just not clean as I'd like for them. This is super easy to use hooked up the hose and wallah fresh water all the time! going to purchase more to place them on my property for my animals

Works great and low maintenance

This is easy to mount and doesn't leak. The float works like it should so the water level stays where it needs to be and you don't have to constantly fill a trough. It's nice when you only have a few animals to keep hydrated instead of a huge Trough. Seems sturdy enough to last a while.
