MTX TNP212D2 12" 1200W Dual Loaded Car Subwoofer Audio w/ Sub Box and Amplifier

I absolutely love this setup!! I knew how great it was because a family member has almost the exact same. Great value for the money. Sound is superb without rattling. Installation was super easy. Was beyond happy to be able to review this product!

Had a hiccup in the beginning. One sub arrived busted contact influencer and they fixed it and sent a new set out for me. Put them up with the help of a couple of friends and my fiance car for him quality is awesome sound comes out good you can feel the bass coming through the subs in his car. He has a 2009 Pontiac G6 so there was more than enough room for these sobs. I would have got a picture of them installed in the car but he was so happy with everything that he took the car out to go and show the rest of his friends what he was able to get. These are 12 out of 10 subs he's in love I love that he's happy and I love that they work perfect for him.

Here it is upon initial arrival out of the box and now in my car! This entire set exceeded my expectations! The box the speakers and the amp?! Everything I could possibly need and want and I have been talking about how I miss having a system in my car and want one again! I am over the moon estatic! It fits lovely in my trunk. Takes up a decent amount of space but quite frankly that was to be expected and I do still have space in front of and next to so I am happy about that! The sound quality is great and I am back to jamming! Even the intros to the podcasts I listen to have some bass to them now! And I absolutely love it!

My son was looking for a new sound system for his car. This was perfect for him. Sounds great. The bass was just what he was looking for. For the price you can't beat it!

Received this awesome Car Dual Bass Package from MTX Audio for my review. If you love listening to your music loudly with clear sound and some extra boom as I do this is a good set to have. It's reasonably priced and includes 2-12 inch Terminator 1200 watt Subwoofers sealed in a nice black carpeted sub box with the word Terminator stitched on the front and a Terminator TNA251- 250 watt mono block Amplifier. It also has a remote bass control button and this set can be installed with any factory car stereo. The kit does come with a few cables and wires but you'll have to buy the normal car or truck stereo installation kit to install them. You can easily mount the Amp on the speaker box if you prefer. These Subwoofers are pretty heavy so please don't try to lift them on your own. Speaker dimensions are 29.63 width 13.5 depth and 14 height. Amplifier dimensions are 7.01 length 5.39 width and 1.85 depth.

This is a great value set. Want something affordable that stands out better than your stock sound system? This could do. But for me the amp just isn’t enough not even for these subs. I ended up purchasing an upgraded amp of a different brand and it made all the difference for me. The subs are capable I can’t say the same for the amp. But if you’re looking for a set up now and don’t require a really hard hitting system this could be your answer.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this subwoofer! I had taken it to a shop to be installed and have been playing my music loud ever since. You can hear me coming from down the street!

This is literally is a good deal. First appearance looks really nice. I like that the box is black and not the normal gray color. The subs are great but I recommend you get a bigger amp. The Amp is really underpowered for the subs. The subs sound so much better with a better amp. I give the subs a 4.5/5 and the Amp 2/5 for these subs.

The sound from the subwoofer is great and the amp is absolutely suitable for the subwoofer. Don't expect arena level volumes. It's not made for that. It is a compliment to your car stereo. It's a decent kit for the price and upgrades the sound of our stereo for sure.The subwoofer box is nice quality well constructed and fits perfectly in the back of our Jeep Cherokee. I like that it's black and not grey like some The terminals on the subwoofer are good quality. They're a higher quality connector than inexpensive cabinets with push connectors. The cabinet is running at 2 ohms so it allows the amplifier to push more power to the speakers. I like that it comes with a remote bass volume control to keep at the front of our car to control the level of bass volume. Independently of our car stereo. This is included in the box. For our application it would be nice if the speakers had a cover as things put into the back could hit the speaker cone and damage the speakers. This would not be a problem if you had the cabinet in the trunk facing the backseat. If you drive it with more than 6 volts you will get a distortion. You must make sure your signal source does not send more than 6 volts to the input of the amplifier.It installs just like any other car amplifier. No special trick to it. You'll need a high quality power cable with fuse to go to your battery. This doesn't come with cables. You will need to purchase a wiring kit. All in all it's a nice subwoofer and amp to compliment your existing car stereo!

Did not know what to expect with this product but I was pleasantly surprised. You can tell this company cares about their products. The care and time they took to wrap their products to protect them during shipping shows the care and quality of this product. Compact box so plenty of room for rear cargo still. Good product for the price!

My 17 year old son is loving these! They sound amazing! Love how every thing came in the box that you need. It has just enough bass to make every song sound good! Would definitely recommend this whole kit!

WOW is all I have to say great job MTX! Worth the buy if your thinking about purchasing.  I talked with MTX technical support on tuning(I didnt want to do anything wrong and wanted to get the most out of it) they had no problem walking me through it.

These sound amazing in my truck......they kinda scared me because they were so loud.....i also got them in only 4 days. EXTREMELY SATISFIED!

The pricing is decent and the shipping was fast! But the amp didn't even work. It worked for like 5 seconds. I don't know if a fuse blew or what, but I just hooked up my old amp to it and have been using that cause it has more watts anyways. I contacted the site and they refunded me $50. So I was definitely happy after that. They sound nice, and way better than the 10's I had before.
