Best shelf

I absolutely loved this!!! I was able to set it up in a one two three because I didn’t have to use any tools. It’s really durable and fits a lot of storage.

Minimal assembly and large capacity. The unit seems sturdy and is very big. It tightly fits in our pantry. It will be better in a garage due to its massive size. The wheels were relatively easy to put on

Not easy to unfold

I was in need of a shelving unit for more storage and was eager to try the Origami Large Wheeled 5-Shelf Folding Steel Wire Shelving unit complimentary through Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I loved the thought of an easy to assemble folding shelving unit and this came as one already assembled piece just in need of adding the wheels. The shelving part of the unit is 78 in height and adding the wheels makes it just under 82 so this is a very tall shelf and I required an extra set of hands to help stand upright and maneuver. Adding the wheels was simple and they seemed sturdy. Unfortunately when I stood this upright I had a bit of an issue unfolding this. No matter how many times I tried to get this to open flat it will not due to the middle gaps of each shelf where it bends not being evenly spaced to allow room to unfold. Most furniture items come with an easy way to adjust and often a little tool piece but this was not designed like that. I'm unsure if weight will flatten these out over time but the wire of the shelves are sort of flimsy and I'm hesitant on the weight they can hold. However the included instructions state 75lbs per shelf with the casters attached or 250lbs without but I personally will not go over 75. Another issue is you need to flip over the top shelf to fold and unfold and at this height I did not have ceiling room to accomplish that without turning the unit on the side and that is a pain. My unit did come with a dented area and some rust so I'm unsure how long this will actually hold up. Fortunately I'm just storing some seasonal decorations and this will ultimately serve its purpose but at this price point I expected better quality than what this is and a much easier ability to fold and unfold.

Extremely portable

I'm using this shelving unit in my basement as additional storage. Its taller than I thought, but it was quite simple and intuitive to set up. I love the fact that it can be broken down and moved to another location, unlike most storage shelving units.

The first one i received, the top shelf was blended so it is not flat and very difficult to be locked. It made the whole become not stable. I contact the CSR and got a replacement. The second one not only has the same issue (top shelf was blended) but also the center lock cannot lock the whole shelf because the left and right panels length are too long. hammer is needed for setting up the shelf...
