Though I didn't realize these were sold as parts only, I received all but one set of dowels that were cosmetic in nature (they weren't screwed into the legs of the stools. However I'm handy and bought and finished replacements for $3.99).
With or without those dowels, these stools were great. I know sturdy well constructed products and these were just that... sturdy, strong material and well ready-to-assemble stools. They went together easily and stand strong. Quite a bargain at $24 plus 3.99 for the replacement dowels!
