The Pondmaster Clearguard Filter's Biological filter media is added to provide surface area for the growth of beneficial bacteria, which helps quickly break down toxic ammonia and nitrite. Internal UV sterilizer keeps your water clear by eliminating green water algae and also eradicates fish parasites and harmful bacteria.
