Razor Kids Electric Mini Dirt Quad

This is the second razor purchased for the grandkids. One is 8 years old, and the other is 5. They go fast enough with the five-year-old navigating and using top speed. They both go well through terrain as I live up in the mountains adjacent to the forest. I would purchase this brand again.

Fun and Sturdy

So far we are loving this. It was easy to assemble. Only had to attach the handlebar. My daughter is loving it. We tried to see if it will tip over by taking some corners quite quickly and does not seem to tip easily. The battery hasn’t run out on us so far. Charges quickly. Doesn’t go too fast that it makes me nervous. Seems sturdy and durable. The only improvement I could see is a reverse feature. If you get stuck in a corner it’s kind of hard to get out as you can’t reverse it. Even pushing backwards is not very easy to do. Only other complaint is that the instructions tell you to inflate the tires to the recommended pressure but I can’t find the recommended pressure anywhere in the instructions and had to look it up online.

Fun for 8-12 year olds!!

I was shocked to see the age limit on this you normally only see these for smaller kids. My 11 year old was so excited about this. The battery life is great and can be driven for quite a while. It took just maybe 5 minutes for my husband to install the handle bars. Super easy and tons of fun!

Tons of fun well built quad!

What a fun ride! The razor quad looks to be built really well leaps above other brands we've had in the past. Upon unboxing instructions were clear and only took a few minutes to assemble and included all necessary tools. Razor recommends this for kids ages 8-12. I thought it would be perfect for my kids 8 and 10. Although they do love to ride it there are a couple things that could be better. One the battery life is stated to last up to 40 minutes. The battery only lasted about 20 minutes on a full charge. They also wanted to go faster than the 8 mph max speed. It would be nice to be able to adjust top speed depending on kids' experience. If speed were adjustable this could widen the age range from about 4-10 or even older with higher speeds available.Overall this quad is very well built and fun for the kids to ride but fell short on a few key features that would really make this the ultimate kid quad!
