While I haven’t been able to use this yet as we haven’t had any snow I’m really happy to support a company that is making products that are not only safe for pets but safe for the environment. It’s nice to know that while you are using something your not harming other things.

Great Idea

I received this bag of animal safe ice melt last week. I always use animal safe because I have two cats that go in and out even in winter. I worry about getting chemicals on their feet. This looks like it will be a good product to try.

Safe for pets

I use this on my back patio where my dogs go to release themselves. I like that these are pellets so they won’t get caught in my dogs’ paws or be drug into the house from people’s shoes. They are also safe for pets and attract the heat to keep the area free of ice.

Works great for northern ice

Having a German Shepherd requires frequent walks outside to go to the bathroom. It’s been very hard since we moved from Florida to the north dealing with snow storms and having a pet inside a small home. This is a large amount of over 20 pounds which will last you all winter and works great for the northern ice I would highly recommend this product and melts snow while keeping your doggie safe.

I like that a product is made with the thought to protect pup paws. I like that it's not really salt and therefore does not break down my concrete...and it protects paws.

Great for environment but it still works!

Safe Paws is safe for the environment which is so important. The problem with eco friendly products though is you often have to give up the effectiveness in favor of being planet conscious. I was so happy to find Safe Paws and try it because it actually works! My four-legged friends don’t have burns on their feet like they do with other salt products. It’s a win-win!

great to have if you have ice and pets

I have many concerns when cold weather strikes here in the PNW. Two are ice and keeping my pets safe. I love Safe Paw as a brand and they seem to care for the environment. I think this is the best ice melter. I love that it doesn't damage concrete and is safe for pets. It comes in a good size (22 lbs.) and can cover a good area. The formula seems to be concentrated and very effective.
