It will hold up to seven to fifteen pounds of bouyancy extra to help hold you above the water. This Life Jacket is made of high quality material and built to last. It can be used as a seat cushion as well. This is a great high quality vest that is made to last a lifetime. With good comfort and safety support.

It is in fact super soft! Folds easily to put away and is extremely easy to put on. Fits a little too loosely around the shoulders for me. Haven't tried it in the water just yet.

If you need a bigger life jacket that’s actually comfortable this one’s a winner. The soft vinyl-coated foam feels good against the skin dries fast and won’t rub you raw. The straps let you get a secure fit though it’s a bit bulky. Not the cheapest but it’s durable Coast Guard–approved and feels great to wear in the water.
