So far it has been working fine for me. It is a great size for a small pond. It does what it should. They seem to work well for a season but would need to be replaced in a matter of time.

We used this to prevent drinking water from freezing in a chicken coop in New England. It definitely did the trick! With the cold winter weather moving in we were trying to find a solution and this works wonders for now. I am eager to see how long it lasts but it seems like decent quality and sturdy materials.

My pond freezes every year. The Dr iced has prevented this from happening and my fish plants and water are healthy. I live in the country and wildlife also use my pond for hydration.

This is a really good product if you have pets that are needed to live in a pond like habitat. Heats up really nice it is not too hot but also does not leave your animal cold.
