48 Gallons is so roomy for all the odds and ends I want to hide. I have some shopping bags that I had in my trunk but did not want to bring in the house just yet so Rubbermaid came to the rescue. I put all the bags in the plastic tub and could really put some more items in it. Some of the items are gifts so the next step is to put a lock on it and then I'm all set. I have it in the garage and now there are no bags in the way to clutter the house and the tub looks good in the garage. All I have to do is put my stuff in there and close the lid out of sight out of mind! I also like the fact that if I needed to tote items in the tub in my 4Runner it is easy to do so as it fits in the back. My husband has a truck so if he ever needs to tote anything in a closed container he can easily use this. If I could change one thing about it I would have some casters on it to make it easier for one person to move instead of needing a second person (if the items inside are heavy) or scraping the bottom on the ground. I do think I have many uses for this tub and it will last for many years to come.

I was looking for a place to store some of my extra nonperishable items on my main floor as now that I'm getting older don't want to make a lot of trips down the stairs to the basement. No surprises here this is great for storage and holds a lot of stuff. Love that it is protected on the outside so if you have to keep it in a garage or something your stuff stays clean and safe. Also easy to stack things on top and it doesn't damage what is inside (like doesn't cave in or anything).

We have a large covered porch with a smaller uncovered part which includes an outside shower. This box was put in the area that gets wet when it rains but we haven’t had to worry about it so far. The box has stayed dry through multiple storms. It’s very convenient to store extra towels and doubles as a nice seating option.

I am using my storage tote as a toolbox in my truck to keep fertilizers chemicals in tip-n-pours a folded tarp and small landscaping tools. It works great because I can fit a bucket beside it. Hasn't moved at all. The latch is nice although I would like to see a slightly bigger hole in it to put a bigger combination lock. Moisture hasn't been an issue after rains although I do not expect it to be completely dry with humidity. It's been a welcome addition to my business and helped me organize the back of my truck better.

This storage box tote is very heavy duty and well made. Being 48 gallons it will hold a lot! I love the fact that it protects items from heat and moisture. Even from pests. We are using ours out in our storage building to hold holiday decorations. I would definitely like to purchase another!

My kids have been in the process of removing childhood memories and things from their bedrooms and I needed something that was large enough to accommodate some of the bigger items. This case is solid! It closes tight and I know the Rubbermaid brand will last for many years to come.

I really surprised at how big it is I love Rubbermaid my only complaint is that the lid is super big and bulky compared to the container itself almost like it’s to big

This Rubbermaid 48 Gallon Black Action Packer Lockable Latch Storage Box Tote is so strong and sturdy but lightweight for its size. Very roomy I couldn’t believe how much I could fit in there. You can also lock it up if needed. This is the best quality made bin I’ve ever seen.

This lockable tote fits great in the bed of my truck. My bed cover leaks when it rains so the stuff in back gets wet. This fits perfectly back so to store my stuff and keep it dry. It seems to be pretty durable so hopefully it will last for years. The lid also stays open so haven't had issues with it slamming down as I'm trying to get things out.

We are more than pleased with our 48 gallon Rubbermaid Action Packer Storage Tote! Besides being super sturdy and spacious it has a latch that can be secured with a padlock. Right now it’s being stored in our lanai and is filled with at least 25 beach towels for when company visits… .and there’s room for more. The tote can withstand cold temperatures and rain. We did however put weatherstripping around the edge of the lid to further weatherproof it against any moisture that might get inside.

Hubby and I are so happy with our new Rubbermaid 48 gallon black storage box it is great really nice made and you can put a lock on it to lock it So happy we got this one he is thinking about getting some more that’s how nice and big it is…. If anyone needs one I definitely recommend getting this one you will love it as much as we do.
